I do not think there's any official announcement about Hunger Games audition. Regarding the movie, I have read that they will start filming on Feb 2011. But this is not yet confirmed によって Lionsgate.
As far as I know they aren't holding auditions for the public but I am not sure. We know that filming will start in 2011, and that the movie rights are owned によって Lionsgate. The movie will come out in late 2012.
LionsGate will announce the auditions 日付 in December!

It could also be in November, don't listen to them about it being a closed auditions because no one knows for sure. A lot of people just say that it's closed so a lot of people would stop saying that they want to audition for it. LionsGate is still waiting for the script to be done,. Also they are waiting for the third book to come out, & see if it's possible to turn it into a movie. They say they will start filming in February 2011, & MAYBE it will come out in fall/winter of 2011, so it's tentative. Which means that LionsGate has not confirmed it yet. If U don't believe me, call LionsGate.
