queenblairw I'm not quite sure if she can do a decent American accent, but she's dating Michel Buble so Idk, maybe, but I think not. I loved her on Rebelde Way or in Casados con hijos, but she kinda always does the same character, more or less bizarre, but it's always the same one, I've seen her in plenty shows and she's always the same, I mean, she can be good acting that one, but :S

Well, I'll say this, I definitely think whoever plays Melanie should either be of Central or South American decent (at least half). Since her last name is Stryder, her mom could have been. That's the impression I got from her description.

queenblairw I'm going to correct myself, she's not only dating Michael, yesterday they announced they're going to get married. As for Mel, Idk, I've never been a fan of Central/South American actresses, even when it's like... my part of the world haha, I just, Idk, I feel like they're not good enough, but it's just me, don't worry. I'd prefer someone with like latin roots, but not entirely latin. Like Jessica Alba, but younger xD
