The Host is about an alien invading 'soul' named Wanderer. When the souls invade earth, they have to bind them selves to a body, (in this case a human) which they call their Host. When they do this the original mind of that body is taken over によって the soul. This book is about when a Host, named Melanie Stryder, refuses to let the soul take over, and causes Wanderer to fall in 愛 with her 前 boyfriend and 愛 her little brother Jamie. She goes to find them and the novel explains what happens when she does. There's nothing really inappropriate about it, and I would definatly recommend it to you. Hope this helps =] xXx
