Nutty theories, get it? Nutty, but, hazelnut, Hazel’s character art and info came out, this is her article, nuts, confusion, hun? Never mind.
    But Hazel IS the subject of today’s 記事 (and her horse- let’s not forget Arion), and I’ve scavenged the information far and wide (hence the two 日 lateness) because I am even もっと見る confused than when I found out that teddy bears can be sacrificed.
    Let’s start with the info that was released early (tee-hee, score 1 for fans!) and that a lot of people have already seen.



Name: Hazel Levesque
Gender: Female.
Eyes: Golden, like 14 karats.
Hair: It's long, curly and brown and I keep it glossy with ジャスミン shampoo.
Hometown: New Orleans but I moved to Alaska on my thirteenth birthday.
Loves: Riding horses, art and the sun since I spent so long without it in Alaska. And I'm also pretty talented when it comes to manipulating dirt . . .
Favourite comfort food: エビ gumbo.
Crush: Crush?! OK, on Frank maybe but he doesn't know!
Weapon: A spatha– a cavarly sword.
Hates: Boats as I get so sea sick. Oh, and curses.

Name: Hazel Levesque
Levesque is a French name. It means ‘bishop’- a bishop being
a)    A type of priest
b)    A chess piece
c)    A superhero! I’m not kidding! Sad part: he turns evil, so if Hazel’s last name means anything and if it means this guy, well we’ve found our Luke! (that’s a 10 on the theory wackiness scale- a scale that should have been invented a long time ago)
Fun fact: Bishop’s powers include absorbing and releasing energy in various form. Don’t ask me why I’m sharing this information.

‘Zhang’ seems to mean something for Frank, ‘Grace’ meant something to Thalia, so we’re going to have to wait like good little children and see if ‘Levesque’ means anything.

    ‘Hazel’, as my beautiful entry mentioned, is a type of nut, and a warm brown colour. It’s not really a French name though…

First thought about ゴールド eyes is Kronos, but I seriously doubt that because her parentage is on the Roman side [quote RR]
It seems magical doesn’t it? Trivia- but [quote RR] her godly parent is all Roman.

Well, then.
I Googled ジャスミン (mm-hmm) and it turns out to be a million things. Asian and Middle-Eastern countries came up a lot, so Hazel could have some roots there seeing as RR seems to be touching various races this time around. Oil, tea, garlands, ディズニー Princesses- あなた name it, jasmine’s there.
That was a waste of a few minutes.

Hometown: New Orleans but I moved to Alaska on my thirteenth birthday.
Let’s start with: New Orleans.
    New Orleans is a モザイク of cultures- from Caribbean, Europe, Africa, etc. It’s developed its own dialect of English, and is known for some (hi Annabeth) French creole architecture. It’s seen as the birthplace of jazz and of course ホーム to Mardi Gras and other festivals and celebrations!
    Plus we’re on a ディズニー Princess roll here; we’ve got ジャスミン from
Aladin, and Tiana from The Frog Prince who lives here.
    Anyways, Hazel comes from a place of culture, and then she moved to Alaska.
    Alaska is the largest state as far as territory goes, but it’s the least populated. Probably because it’s up north with Canada, and Russia across the Bering Strait- with some pretty intense climate. It was purchased from the Russian Empire back in 1867, によって William H Seward- who’s statue was the one that Percy and Annabeth set off during the battle of Manhattan.
    Fun fact: in 1789 names were 与えられた from Spanish settlers to places; one of them being… Valdez!
    A fun thing in Alaska is the sled dog race called the Iditarod.
    It started out as a medical crisis, called the Serum Run to Nome, または the Great Run of Mercy.
    A diphtheria epidemic threated Nome (I don’t mean a nome like in the Kane Chronicles, I mean the city is called ‘Nome’), especially the children, especially the native Alaskan children with no natural protection against white man’s disease. The closest place where the cure was found was in Anchorage, the biggest city. But the only 2 planes that could go were dismantled and had never been flown in winter; it was too dangerous. So how did that run happen? Dog sled teams passed from point to point, passing the serum to each other. Anybody ever hear about Balto? There’s a statue of him in Central Park; and Balto was the lead dog for Gunnar Kaasen’s team- and they were the ones who rode into Nome. They became media セレブ and all; but there are other teams that happened, like Togo and his master Leonhard Seppara. That’s what happened. There’s even a movie about Balto!
     Speaking of races; isn’t that what Hazel’s horse is all about? Stay tuned for もっと見る (I sound like a television!)
    But here’s something that struck me; Hazel was 13 when she moved. Isn’t that the age where monsters start going after you? So maybe the 移動する was made to protect her. I mean; Alaska isn’t bursting with people, so it can’t be bursting with monsters either. または maybe it is… Hmm…
    Something else to think about; did it ever mention that Hazel moved there with her mortal parent? Because when あなた look at the cover for The Son of Neptune, one of the first things that we 発言しました about it was that it might be Alaska. So maybe she pulled a Nico. He has a room at Hades’ palace; maybe she lives with a god, または to be closer to a god. Maybe she worked in the enemy field at some point and that’s what RR means when he introduces her in her blog as a demigod with a complicated past.

    How’s that for confusion?
    Let’s go with association- gods with activities.
Riding Horses- Neptune, I found a dude called Ares Lusitani who was the god of 馬 and knights, Juno and Mars as war gods (war horses)
Art- Apollo, the muses, Minerva
Sun- Well, Apollo… The Romans were big ファン of Helios as well, Apollo says that they were introduced in the Titan’s Curse. Well; maybe the Romans believe that the sun is driven によって Helios- または Sol as they called him (fun fact; the French word for sun is soleil). They sometimes associated him with Janus as well, the beginning and end god, who is all-Roman. Plus; ゴールド eyes…
    Although for those theories crashing down; Hazel has a legit and reasonable and normal reason to like the sun. She went from New Orleans to Alaska, where it’s dark 6 months a 年 または so unless I’m mistaken (which I might be). That’s harsh, I’d miss the sun too and I’m a bad-weather type of person.
Manipulating dirt-… Pluto? Gaia? Ceres? Whaaaat?
    I seriously don’t get this. I’m guessing that she’s in the same age group as Leo; which means that Gaia wasn’t having kids when she came around, she was destroying and plotting to destroy the childhood of others. Well… Multi-tasking…
    Nico manipulated stone in the Battle of the Labyrinth, when Kronos’ 王位 room went down on 上, ページのトップへ of him.
    Ceres is a goddess of earth, right? And she actually has a connection to Gaia that I should bring up. See, in roman religion the earth goddess was linked to Ceres, and it’s mentioned in one of the printables on the site! Look here: link
    You can learn again from those printable, I swear! Did あなた know than an oath on Gaia was even もっと見る serious than an oath on the Styx? Because あなた can’t escape the earth if あなた break it. こんにちは maybe that’s what the curse of キャビン 9 is about… Anyways, moving on!
    So maybe Ceres –the Roman Demeter- is going to have itty bitty little technical issues during this. Maybe her kids too, so Hazel is going to be really torn and so forth.
    The choice that comes up the most is Apollo but RR’s blog says;
Hazel has powers あなた have never seen before, because her godly parent is on the Roman side. But (major hint) she is related to a character あなた know well from the Percy Jackson series. Which one? I think that will surprise you.[/b]
    Supposedly it’s a major hint.
    Okay, that clearly rules out: Clovis, Drew, Piper, Leo, Jason and Lou Ellen. And it leaves: 20 million others.

Creepy thing; I actually thought of this couple before... Can somebody say 'inquest tension'?

NO I don’t think that this means that Percabeth is totally out of the woods just yet because there are still a million things that could go wrong. So hold the cheerleader routines, confetti cannons and free hugs for later.

Weapon: A spathaâ a cavarly sword.
Makes sense, right? Cavalry sword- she’s on a horse.
    The Spatha was a straight sword measuring beyong 0.75 and 1 metre. It was a heavy infantry weapon, unlike the gladus, and soon came to replace the gladus in front ranks after

its origin in Germanic auxiliaries. It was different for the infantrymen and cavalrymen because for the later, the tip was rounded a bit to avoid stabbing of the foot.
    So either Camp Caesar サラダ (until the end, it will have this name) has auxiliary units (which I highly doubt because FYI: auxiliaries were less trained men from other countries who were fighting just as hard as legionnaires for less to try and get Roman citizenship for them and a friend または family), または a cavalry unit (ding, ding, ding!).
    That; または Hazel is even もっと見る special than her character info makes us all believe.

She hates boats- okay; this might make taking her on the Argo II either a bit complicated, または really hilarious.
And two; this clearly means that she talks to 馬 but is not a daughter of Neptune!
No but seriously; I know that a lot of regular people get seasick, but if Percy is a ball of nerves on caffeine when he’s in a plane, so would a child of Pluto not hate boats? And she makes it sound like it’s some really intense sea sickness.
    Curses: Does this have anything to do with Leo, Jake and Nyssa’s little problem? または is it completely unrelated? Maybe her best friend is in a coma from a forge accident. Was she cursed because she was a *cough* broken oath? Did she break one herself? Maybe she had a clash with Trivia (alias Hecate, alias the magic goddess) and the outcome was bad. Maybe she’s cursed like Annabeth. Either way, I don’t know a lot of people who, with no experience of them, say ‘I hate curses’.

Also known as Arion, this horse makes Olympic sprinters and cheetahss jealous. He's fast. He's also Hazel's most powerful tool.
What do they do? Aside from his lightning-fast feet and some impressive brute strength, Arion is the most loyal horse a girl could ask for.
Noteworthy:[/b[ Arion was initially a royal treasure of the Amazons, and has a taste for gold, and other metal objects. What's precious to humans is lunch to Arion

Before we go any further, let us all notice the misspelling of the word ‘cheetahs’. That is all.

Anyways- Arion. Yes.

So his parentage is complicated to trace. Some say that he was the child of Poseidon and Demeter while they were both transformed into horses. In this version he has a sister who isn’t known- tuh-tuh-tuh! Maybe she’ll pop up if we’re going with this idea.
Some say he and Caerus were children of Gaia. (which would be bad at this particularly point and quest, especially since he’s really important to Hazel, which I imagine means she fights horseback.)
Others say that it was the child of either Poseidon または Zephyrus, with a harpy as a mother.
The three parentages relate highly to The Son of Neptune characters; Percy, Gaia, Ella.
There is so and so and so other examples of Arion’s race winnings whether at funerals または Nemean games, and of his speed. So far, I’ve got nothing about the horse being a metal detector and eater though.

Supposedly Arion has offsprings; like the Pegasus does (refresher: only one 迅速, スウィフト and immortal and wonderful Pegasus, as in tamed によって Bellerophon, but Blackjack, Guido, Porkpie, etc were all sired によって him または one of his children).
But this horse is highly important and he went from owner to owner- all with complex Greek names leading me to believe that they were important.
1)    Ogkios- He owned the horse field where Demeter and Poseidon once camouflaged as horses
2)    Heracles- あなた do know who this guy is, I hope?
3)    Adrastos

But RR tells us where Arion is from, does he not?
‘A royal treasure of the Amazons’. That too sounds important, and I was very pleased to hear about the amazons.
    The Amazons were a nation of female warriors. Their territory was vast and they were known for their warrior skills, and they were excellent horse tamers- trained as everything from an early age. King Priam even called upon the help of Pentkesileia, an アマゾン queen, to fight for Troy. She killed heroes, and a hero killed her- Achilles, actually. When he lifted her helm, he fell

in 愛 though (Cue Aphrodite girls and romantics: awww…), and returned her body unharmed to the Trojans (which he didn’t do every time; he dragged a friend’s killer around behind his chariot after the battle, Clarisse and the drakon style). Their queens were ferocious, and included a few daughters of Ares. Actually, one of the left Amazons’ most respected gods was Ares, possibly like a certain archer with a Chinese surname.
    Plus; do あなた not see the hunters and the Amazons? They’ll be either best フレンズ または they’ll have issues. Heh…
    Anyways, how in the world did Hazel end up with a horse that passed through so many hands?
    Same way as Reyna ended up with the hounds, I guess…
    No but seriously; what did she do? Is it in her family? Maybe her mother was an Amazon, または a descendant of Heracles. Maybe she won the horse in a fight, または a good deed. And why is he so loyal to her? It might be because she’s a horse whisperer, または is it because she saved/rescued/found him? Sort of a Blackjack/Percy thing. Aww- Hazel will make Percy miss Blackjack! :(
    This part actually made me look up Diana to see if maybe, just maybe, Diana wasn’t a virgin goddess like Artemis. Artemis has the powers and abilities to talk to animals, and so does タリア (I don’t think ‘how to talk wolf’ is something she Googled) and probably the other hunters, so I was thinking that maybe Hazel could talk to 動物 because of that.     Well- I looked it up and Diana is one of the three virgin goddesses in Roman myths as much as Greek. But maybe Hazel is an ex Hunter? I don’t get how that would explain Arion または the ゴールド eyes- but hey, maybe she’s just stopping によって with the hunters of Diana when Percy shows up. She knows Jason personally and gets involved.
    *BUZZAR NOISE* Crush on Frank! Then again, a few hunters throughout history fell in 愛 at some point または another.

    [b]Final Theory on who Hazel Levesque really is

•    You know, I think it might be Saturn. For those of あなた who don’t know your equivalents によって heart; Saturn is Kronos.

    I know, I know; a child of Kronos is the 星, つ星 of many ファン fictions and sounds a little weird when RR does say ‘Demigod? Yes.’ So I have a feeling he’s staring me in the face and saying ‘drop it…’ but he didn’t listen to me when I told him to 公開する his book early, so fneh. That’s what あなた get, Rick Riordan, especially after the tantalising picture on your blog.



     Anyways; in Roman religion he was the god of agriculture (hence: the dirt), and Hazel's eyes are 発言しました to be gold. RR also mentioned that Hazel had a complicated past. 'Complicated' applies to three quarters of the demigod population, but being the daughter of an evil titan must be in the 上, ページのトップへ 10, right? It also explains a 移動する to Alaska; to keep Hazel hidden from the Titan Lord (who was looking for help, am I right?) and from Camp Caesar サラダ who would figure it out.

    Here’s an elementary problem with this theory. Well, 2.

1)    Hazel is 発言しました ‘demigod’. Titans and gods are not the same thing!
2)    How do あなた have kids when you’re chopped off in a million pieces and just lying in Tartarus in a state of semi-conscience and pain?

    Anyways here’s the answer, in Roman myth Saturn didn't get chopped in 1000, he fled to Rome and established the 'Golden Age', which made a perfect time of peace and harmony.

    There was also Saturnalia, which was a festival where slaves and masters ate at the same 表, テーブル and exchanged roles, executions were postponed and gifts were given. It used to be one day, then it turned to a week. If the timing didn't play around the Winter Solstice, then I would say that this might be our 'feast of fortune'.

    And if Hazel has no link to Saturn as parentage- maybe she carries a part of his spirit for the Golden Age to preside without the titans ruling. I don't know. As previously mentioned RR was uncooperative when I sent telepathically brain waves to him urging him to 公開する the book faster.

•    Pluto
    Okay, I know that this theory was gone over again. And again. And again. And again numerously. But dirt? Nico and Bianca? It still could be.
    
    It would also explain that sudden 移動する to Alaska maybe. If the monsters were starting to 表示する up big time, Mrs Levesque (we’re assuming it’s a Mrs if Pluto’s the god) moves Hazel to Alaska to hide her. Although Roman children seem to be younger than 13 when they get claimed, etc.

    Plus; Arion has some dead owners, am I right? If Pluto taps into that; Hazel gets a horse that makes cheetahs depressed about their physical capacities.

•    Victoria
    Victoria? Wow that’s kind of weird and ランダム Hecate, explain yourself, in the name of Rome!

    I’m getting there;
    
    -Gold eyes- a ゴールド medal, the best. Victoria was featured on numerous coins as well.

    -Race horse, the fastest and most loyal- the one who always wins, right? Victoria was the goddess of victory, and often seen on a chariot herself.
    
    Nike (the Greek original) was seen as もっと見る of a celebration of Olympic victories and winning sports games. Victoria was really seen as a goddess of victory over death (I went all out here- bold and underlining) and was often worshipped によって Generals as they won the war and went back home.

    -Likes art- Victoria was all over in art. She was on coins, statues of her were here and there, architecturally mind-blowing temples (hi Annabeth) were seen here and there, etc, etc. A statue in Victoria was removed によって emperor Gratianus and there was a big uproar によって the people- Victoria was もっと見る important to the Romans than she was to the Greeks.

    -Sea Sickness- Victoria was winged, so Hazel would probably like it in the air better, just like Jason. She might not be in fatal danger like Jason while she’s in water, but she wouldn’t be at total ease.

-Curses- Dionysus was known for curses. Over and over and over, it’s always him and the curses. If she got a curse as a punishment from Dad, または as a revenge from somebody else, well…
