All of these deaths had me in tears or gave me watery eyes. The episode, The Body, when Joyce died had me balling pretty much the whole time. It's really hard for shows or movies to make me cry. But I found all of these deaths completely devastating.

One of my favourite characters in BtVS, it was awful how she die.
This would be followed by Tara and Juliet.

Oh god this was awful. I just wanted to hug Sawyer through the tv LOL.

^^ I know! Josh and Elizabeth were both amazing. I still remember the look on his face on the beach when Jin and Sun were reunited; I think I felt my heart sink a little bit for him.

I cried like a baby.

My heart broke for Sawyer here, all the BTVS Deaths were really sad too.

Even though Anya was my favourite BtVS character, I don't cry everytime I watch it like I do with Tara's. I don't know what that's about, but I find it heartbreaking that she'd just got back together with Willow only to be shot dead in front of her by Warren. Damn Whedon. I find Jenny's heartbreaking too, but we didn't see her die, so it doesn't upset me as much as Tara's.

^ I agree with you on all of that. I just thought that these were some of the most feel-my-heart-hurt/sink. I think Joyce's death was the only one that had me flat out crying. I almost never cry, but for some reason that really got to me. The feeling you get when you walk in a room and see your mother's body is indescribable. I still remember it (my mom had inflammatory breast cancer and was on hospice) it's sort of like... well I can't even explain it. This happened several years after "The Body" aired. Anyway, all these deaths were really heartbreaking, more so than any other television characters (for me) I've watched. Charlie's, in Lost, was pretty sad too; for shame, me forgetting.

This is really the saddest to me as I think we could all relate to Buffy at the mere thought of loosing our mother. When she is standing there calling out to her when she first enters and then calls out "Mommy". It's just very heart wrenching.
