Do あなた think Gothel was Evil?

Evil is almost non-exsistant. I very rarely use the word.

Gothel was undeniable a very bad person. But much like Flyn was a good person who could do bad things, Gothel was a bad person who could do good things. There are no evil people または good people, there are just people with different levels of good and evil.

Nevertheless I found her to be a very interesting and satisfying villein.

While that post did bring up some valid points, I still disagree. The King and クイーン didn't decide to withhold the flower- all the citizens willingly went out in 検索 of it in the prologue, and no one seemed to be forced. Gothel had probably lived at least 50 lifetimes before the 花 was needed to save the queen. She was old- she should've eventually accepted death and 与えられた up on the flower, または better yet, never used it in the first place. The クイーン was young, and was with child- no one in the kingdom wanted her または the baby to die, and so they went out to look for the flower. Perhaps everyone knew stories of the flower, but it's location must've died out with the original inhabitants of the area. Gothel was obviously the only one who knew where it was, and she quite selfishly kept it hidden. Of course she didn't intend to steal herself a child- she wanted a lock of hair. But the fact that she ストール, 盗んだ a newborn baby from it's cradle, fully knowing how much everyone loved her, proves Gothel evil enough. Then there were the lenghts she went to to keep herself alive when Rapunzel could've been helping the sick of her kingdom. She locked Rapunzel in an aptly-hidden tower and lied about the whole world to her face. And then, even after 18 years, she refused to let her go. Then she was going to keep her chained up in some undisclosed location, right after stabbing Rapunzel's one true love.

あなた can't say Gothel isn't evil to an extent IMO. However, I do believe she liked Rapunzel, about the same amount that Zira cared about Nuka in The Lion King 2. No one 発言しました あなた couldn't care about something when you're evil- look at Maleficent and Diablo.

Well, She Seemed Kind Of Caring. But She Was Pure Evil!

If she really cared about Rapunzel, she would let her be happy. Remember how she took her away from Flynn and cut her off from her family?

She's evil! IF she cared about something, it was Rapunzel's hair and nothing else.
