I WANT it to be Eric and I'm pretty sure that's what Charlaine wants deep down, too. I would be totally let down if she didn't end up with Eric. There's been too much of a build up for them not to be together in the end.
I also hated Bill from the second book on. Alicide would be all right. Quinn just drove me crazy. I love Sam, but only as her friend.
So, it's the Viking all the way for me. :)

at first i wanted bill but by the end of book 8 i was totally siding with sam.

So like Eric in the books, but I have always been a fan of Quinn to. Yet the whole "Babe" thing with him drives me a bit crazy.

I hate Bill! I've hated him since the bar scene in "Living Dead in Dallas" where Eric saves her and Bill takes off! I let off a few swear words during my first read of that.

My heart broke with Sookie's when we found out why Bill came to Bon Temp to begin with. From then one it's been Team Eric. He does so much for her. And he has saved her life several times. Sam is my next choice..but I really hope she ends up with Eric!

Bill has been her LOVE from day one! I know the comment above me makes sense but Sam would be just like a Stalker when you heard him think in episode one!-(STRANGE LOVE) and I just think that Eric is jealous because Bill had Sookie First! I know keep reading but its true!

I just think that anyone that has picked Bill, is because they haven't read the books! The only reason I keep reading is to get to the parts with Sookie and Eric. I had read all the books, and listen on audio, and is Eric, Eric all the way.

I've only just finnished reading Living Dead in Dallas, and I really want to know if and when Sookie and Eric get together!?!
Also, when does Eric save Sookie and Bill leave her in a bar? I don't remember that...

Okay if sookie and bill don't end up together it will just break my heart... Eric is great but I don't see him ever fully giving himself to sookie and sooner or later him make choices for her is going to end that whole odd relationship... Bill did do some thing unforgivable but.. ITS TRUE LOVE... Quinn sucks... and if she ends up with sam I would be sooo confused... there is a little flirting there but their friend at the core of that odd relationship... CAN"T WAIT FOR #10

Quinn all the way. Firts Bill is an Ass and id be ok with Eric. But its Qinn she belongs with. He really loved her and did all he could to protect her. Plus he's one Hot Supe. Hopefully in book 19 she takes him back

Yes, I do Eric may be cocky but he has done alot for Sookie and I think he truly cares about her.

I really don't get the Bill being Sookie's True Love. Don't get me wrong I think she loved him and he her but that ship has sailed. He was her first love, people change...they both obviously have. He betrayed her w/ Lorena and then the Queen...he purposely flaunted Selah in her face...I just don't see how that equates to true love. Sure love is blind...but it isn't stupid. I think he redeemed himself in book 9 but that doesn't change the outcome of thier romantic future. Plus...the only constant in Sookie's life has been Eric. If CH intends for them to be together in the end Eric will put Sookie first, simple as that.

i believe it will be bill but, i believe that Sam has yet some large part yet to be seen. there is just something about him.
when the real reason for bill's being there was revealed i realized that he fell in love with her along the way, something that he didn't expect. besides Lorena was his maker and she did have some power over bill.

I haven't finished reading the series yet and I admit in book 1 it was Bill or Sam for me. More Sam, because he is less abusive than Bill. But I admit that Bill really was her love and he loved her too and he gave her something that no other guy could, but... it is obviously over. They failed in building real long lasting relationship. I used to find the whole thing with Eric and him constantly using Sookie a bit boring (though, Bill did use Sookie too), but it's obvious that Eric and Sookie really care about one another and they saved each other for plenty of times. Sookie loves Eric too. She can be happy with him.

Eric for sure... i can't stand Bill, i use to like him a lot but after his betrayal to Sookie of why he really came to town i couldn't stand the sight of his from then on.
