I'm a ファン of CreepyPasta just as much as the 次 guy. I read it almost everyday. Recently, I have been 読書 Sonic.exe.

It was okay. Just like any other. A guy gets a video game disc from a friend and has a letter with it. He reads it and thinks its a little joke. Obviously there's something wrong with it. Ignoring the letter he puts the disc in the computer. He then notices strange things about, has many openings where he can take out the disc and destroy it, but keeps playing out of curiosity. At the end he hears a voice and a plushy ends up being behind him and looks like the thing he had just seen on the computer screen.

Yeah. A topical CreepyPasta. I thought nothing like that could really happen.

It was a normal day. Went to school, went back home. My parents were at work so I was the only one home.

I went into the キッチン to get something to eat and saw a little DVD case on the table. I picked it up and found a little note under it. It read:

We both know how much あなた like Sonic and his games. We found this and thought you'd enjoy it.

Love,
Mom & Dad

It looked to be もっと見る for the computer than the TV. I went up to my room and put it in my computer. It definitely was a game.

A screen came up on my computer that asked if I wanted to download the contents of the disc on the computer. The contents of the disc was called Shadow.exe.

Okay, I bet my friend did that to the disc. He then probably have it to my parents so they could help on his little joke.

I downloaded it.

Finally, the タイトル screen for Shadow the Hedgehog came up.

Impressive. I thought Shadow the Hedgehog was only for Xbox, PS2, and other TV systems. Apparently someone had made it onto a computer disc.

I pressed the enter key and it went to a knew screen. The file screen obviously. But in the background Shadow looked....... Different.

After I took a closer look, I realized he looked like how Sonic was described in Sonic.exe. The same black background of his eyes and the red dots for pupils. They glowed brighter than Sonic's were described. Blood came from his eyes and his teeth were sharper than any blade in the world, in time even! His hands had blood on them as if he had recently killed someone. The same evil grin was spread across his face.

I tried to get the disc out and 削除 the download, but it wouldn't let me. I had to keep playing.

I picked the first save file. It came to the first level of the game. No G.U.N. Agents, no robots, not even citizens in sight. I also noticed I wasn't playing as Shadow. It was Rouge.

Okay, this was to much like the CreepyPasta Sonic.exe now.

I made her run down the 通り, ストリート and found nothing. The scene now seemed endless. That's when the screen went black. It came back up, but the buildings had been broken to bits. The look on Rouge's face was something like fear mixed with disbelief.

She kept running, but seemed to be slowing down. Rouge stopped when she came upon Shadow's presence. She walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

He turned around, those same red dots stared at her and he did something indescribable. You'd have to see it and you'd know why I can't describe it.

The screen went black again and showed Rouge with knives and other sharp weapons sticking out of her. Her 毛皮 had darkened just slightly and her eyes were completely white. Blood oozed from her mouth as if she were vomiting. Her wings weren't attached and broken to bits. Above her read;

GoOd ByE fOrEvEr

Good bye forever? That seemed too much like Sonic.exe.

The screen went black for 10 秒 または so and ended up back at the タイトル screen where Shadow was now like he had been in the level. I pressed enter and picked the 秒 save file.

The 次 scene seemed to be the realm Shadow fought Mephiles in Sonic 06. What was this level doing in Shadow the Hedgehog? The game didn't exist then.

What was even stranger was the person I was playing. It was Silver.

Now, I knew something was up before, but now I knew 100% something was up.

Regardless, I kept on playing.

Just like the level with Rouge, the scene seemed to stretch on forever. Then Shadow came up behind him. The screen went black for a moment and もっと見る words popped up on the screen:

YoU cAn RuN, BUt yOU caN't HIdE

The screen came back on, but the scene changed. It was the bad future that Silver was trying to change. The music... Oh the God awful music! It sounded like the 音楽 for the main screen of Sonic 06, but was played in a minor key. I now noticed the other two levels had no music.

I made Silver run across the screen, and I now saw the look on his face. He looked uneasy, even もっと見る so than he already looked in Sonic 06. He seemed terrified, not sure which way he should run.

I kept him running and saw Shadow right in front of him, with that unearthly look on his face.

Silver's expression changed to mortal terror and I made him run in the other direction.

Shadow seemed to have known I was going to make Silver go that direction and appeared before him. I made Silver do a quick turn, but Shadow was quicker. He appeared before Silver yet again. Silver faltered in his steps and stood right before Shadow.

He turned to the screen and gave me a look like he wanted me to save him. Any which way, he wanted me to save him.

Of course, I couldn't do anything.

Shadow reached for Silver and grabbed him.

The screen went black yet again and this time, there was a scream. It was Silver's. it was his voice that had made that cry. But it sounded like his scream had not been on the computer, but right in front of me.

I felt as if someone were in my hands, struggling to get out of my grip. I looked at my hands making sure it was in my head. It was.

Shrugging it off, I looked back at the screen. New words appeared:

I TolD yOU

Was he trying to speak to me directly または was it just a joke?

The タイトル screen came up yet again, but I noticed the SEGA 2005 had changed to SEGA 666.

Okay, now I was worried. I left my computer and went out for a walk. It was a cool evening so I put on my coat.

I guess I had fallen asleep up in my お気に入り 木, ツリー because the nightmare I had was treacherous.

Rouge and Silver were at my feet.

“Please, we beg you! Don't kill us!” Silver pleaded.

“What? I didn't do anything to you.”

Rouge spoke up, “You were about to, Shadow.”

Shadow? Why was she calling me Shadow?

Then, I found myself on the other side of the room. Silver and Rouge were still at my feet.

Wait... I'm still over there?

Silver still begged for mercy, but I reached my hand toward him. That's when I realized I had those red dots for pupils and razor sharp teeth.

I woke with a start. Rubbing my head, I jumped down and headed back home.

My computer was still on the タイトル screen of the game. I pressed enter and saw on the 秒 save file, unlike the first, what Silver looked like.

His 毛皮 had darkened to a grey that seemed sickly. His eyes were completely white, and had blood oozing from them. A few of his quills had been ripped off, one of them placed somewhere unspeakable. His right arm seemed to be hanging によって a thread.

Trying not to vomit, I chose the final save file.

The scene was the Spongonia night level from Sonic Unleashed. Thinking I was going to play Omega, I really shouldn't have been surprised, but I saw I was playing as Werehog Sonic.

I made him run on all fours for he's faster that way. I looked closely at his face and saw his normal serious face had changed to unsure-ness mixed with fear, and seemed like he was about to face death. Which was basically correct.

He kept running across the screen until a light emanated right in front of him. I'd know that light anywhere. It was the light if Shadow teleporting.

Werehog Sonic backed up, obviously scared.

Shadow appeared, just like I knew he would and made Werehog Sonic try and attack him. I've had enough of this......this thing!!

Each blow missed, and Shadow just kept moving out of the way.

Soon, an even eviller demonic laugh than Sonic's escaped his lips. I kept making Werehog Sonic attack him, but like I said, he kept missing.

I began to sweat out of fear of what he was planning to do with him.

Werehog Sonic stopped, obviously out of breath. He kept panting until Shadow's hands touched his back.

I felt it in my hands. His fur! Why is it I can feel his fur?

The screen went black. It stayed that way for a bit then my screen turned blue. Soon, just like in Sonic.exe, a semi-real picture of Shadow came up, those red dots staring at me. His smile went from ear to ear, his teeth the same razor sharp, but stained with blood and had what looked to be fresh flesh dangling off them.

The demonic laugh was heard loud and clear. Above him read:

I AM YOU

I fell back in my chair, right onto the floor. "I am you"... It's a joke. It's just gotta be!

But something in me 発言しました otherwise. Why was it that I felt Silver struggling in my hands? And Werehog Sonic's fur?

I got up and went to the bathroom. I splashed my face with water and tried to tell my myself it WAS a joke.

Putting my hands on the edge of the sink, I looked at them and gasped. White gloves, rings on my wrists, and blood.

I ran from my bathroom to my room and looked in the full body mirror.

Every detail was ON me. WAS me.

Hover shoes, jet black 毛皮 with crimson stripes on my arms, legs, and head. 6 quills on my head, 2 pointing down, the other 4 turned upward. Razor sharp teeth in my mouth. Then the worst.

The black background of my eyes, and the red dots stared back at me.

No... I-I AM him!!

I looked at my computer, and where Shadow — I mean I was, was not there. Nothing was there.

I looked at the floor and nearly jumped out of my skin.

There Rouge, Silver, and Werehog Sonic lay there dead. Rouge and Silver the same as they had been on the computer. Now Werehog Sonic... Might as well describe him now.

His 毛皮 was soaked with blood and bile. One of his claws was bent in the wrong direction, and the other was deep in his chest. His eyes were pitch black. If I had not known what killed them, I would've wondered what hostile, vile creature could've done this to them?

But of course I knew. I was it.


As I write this, I'm slowly having my old self locked deep inside. I wrote this as a warning.

If あなた ever find a disc with Shadow.exe written on it, destroy it. It may kill myself if あなた do, but it'll keep あなた all 安全, 安全です from my reign of terror. If あなた don't, あなた might be my 次 victim.

And whatever あなた do, DON'T PLAY THE GAME!!!!
