I don't know why people cringe when they meet a sonic fan?

Meh it's maybe because our bad reputation of our fandom sometimes since most people say that we have no intelligence または something like that.

The Sonic fanbase has a horrible reputation for being broken and divided, and ファン tend to be seen as fanatics または hypocrites who criticize nearly every new game that comes out (sometimes even before it comes out) and still claim to be a Sonic fan. It also doesn't help that Sonic is seen as a kid's game によって many older and "mature" gamers. Lastly, Sonic ファン are often stereotyped as perverted furries who draw fetish art of the various characters, even though those ファン are a decided minority.

O.o ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my goshhhhhhhhhh howwwwwwwww is that even dafuuuuuuuqqqqqq. Even when i sonic had green eyes i still liked him also even if he has wierd designs i still like him. Man how could they be sonic ファン they never even try maybe it's probably that they don't like changes I'm not so sure because I never really act like that

The ファン who criticize Sonic for having green eyes are probably the older ファン who have been with Sonic since the Classic era, when his eyes were black. Similar criticisms have been raised over Sonic's arms being colored blue in Sonic Boom.
