Daichi: The...Scientist?! (RP)

Okay, so I've been wanting to bring Daichi (For those of あなた that don't remember, Daichi is the comic relief character, the octopus that is ALWAYS drunk, used only for comic relief before) back for QUITE a while, and been wanting to reveal his past, so...here goes!
Your character is on their way back ホーム from a party, and decide, for whatever reason, to stop によって Daichi's home. They knock, and are caught によって surprise when the octopus 回答 the door, wearing glasses, a labcoat, and, the biggest surprise of all, talking in a sober voice.
Daichi: Well, hello, my friend. This is a...surprise. I wasn't expecting visitors, but I can put something together if あなた want to stay a while.
What do あなた do?
