1. He's a bit reckless. I know that he wants to protects the people he loves but he was a Mystes/Torch all throughout season one and two(I'm not saying this out of spite),and could do little. He does redeem himself when he helps Shana, though. 2. He's clueless when it comes to love. I mean, couldn't it have been もっと見る obvious? Ike (his best friend) could see it. Wilhelmina and Alastor could see Shana's attachment to him. Heck, even Margery had an inkling! 3. He's stupid when it comes to love. Just as he realizes(too late) that he actually loves Shana, he goes to the bad side. Then he beats her up, and kidnaps her. Nice. Good move. Way to go on charming the girl to get on her good books. Even when he did it for her(to keep her out of the war), couldn't he explain it clearly instead of hauling her to the Seireiden caveman style?
