This is the Institute in Brooklyn. It is an old gothic cathedral that is run by the Lightwoods. The Lightwoods live in the Institute full time but others can live there if they are approved to by the Lightwoods. Only Shadowhunters can open the doors.

After about 15 more minutes, Fallax had finished off the rest of the body, throwing the sexual organs into a portal to some random place and keeping the femurs to gnaw on later.

Fallax placed the other bone under the bed. There was a huge, wet, blood-stained spot in front of the piece of furniture, and he was still covered in blood himself.

Elizabeth frowned. "We'll need to do something about that." She looked pointedly at the blood on the floor (bed?)

He gave a fake huff and walked in. "I guess so," he teased before closing the door and turning on the hot water and switching it to the showerhead.

Fallax took off his pants and stepped in. He grabbed the soap when he realized he forgot a washcloth. "Elizabeth!! Where're your rags at!?"

He rinsed out his hair, then lathered up the rag and washed his body. The blood that wasn't rinsed off by the water was being scrubbed off by the rag and then rinsed again. He huffed. "I thought I looked perfectly fine covered in blood, but whatever," he mumbled to himself.

Fallax finished cleaning himself, washed the soap and leftover blood off, then cut the water and stepped out. He dried himself off and wrapped the towel around his waist before stepping out.
