This is the Institute in Brooklyn. It is an old gothic cathedral that is run by the Lightwoods. The Lightwoods live in the Institute full time but others can live there if they are approved to by the Lightwoods. Only Shadowhunters can open the doors.

Fallax's blood-red eyes widened. Fuck!! He stopped breathing as worry filled his body. He was wide open with almost no form of defense in this place. If he were to get in a fight here now, he'd most certainly lose.

James raised an eyebrow. "I really don't wanna know about your sex life. I would think that if you were to bring a demon into the Institute that there would be a more complex reason than sex. But whatever. None of my business. I'm not going to kill him and I'm not going to tell anyone."

Fallax swallowed and his ears drooped again. "Look," he said lowly, "I've got nowhere else to go. Nobody else to go to. I mean, we're not necessarily seen as 'positive beings', after all..."

He looked a little dumbfounded. "A-alright, then," he said and jumped out of the window, shifting forms as he fell to the ground. "I'll make sure to try not to set off too many alarms."

Fallax reappeared a moment later sitting on the bed with his arm impaled through the front of a man's chest, his soul firmly in his grasp on the other side.

Fallax nodded and pulled his arm out. He put the soul in his pocket then bit into the man's neck, tearing off a chunk and swallowing it, blood trailing down both of their bodies.

Fallax looked slightly confused by the display. "All this time and you've never actually seen a demon eat?" He finished off the neck, bones and all, and began on one of his arms.

Fallax finished off the arms and decided to go check on her. He got up, leaving the bloody and mutilated cadaver on the floor, and went to the bathroom door. He leaned against the door frame and looked at her, blood covering the front of his body and the entirety of his hands. "You okay?"

"I'll take that as a no...." He shrugged and pushed off of the door frame to go back to the bed. "Well, I've gotta eat, so yeah." He picked back up the corpse and resumed his meal, taking a large bite out of the side.
