Yomi sat at the bar, running his finger around the rim of an empty shot glass. The remnants of ラム, ラム酒 left a warm feeling down the back of his throat. He was nervous, wondering if Sesshomaru had liked the flowers, または would he be insulted as if he were being treated as a woman.
He wondered if it was a little too much.
He wanted to ask, but the servant woman he spoke to hadn’t returned. And there was no way of being sure she would be aware of such details, and who would be? This was Sesshomaru after all, the world renowned king of ice. Would he express if he liked them または all out complain? Would he send them away with full rejection?
He half wished he hadn’t sent them, but the scent was so nice and the feel of the blossoms felt worthy, and the way the florist described them, in his mind he just pictured a fair being moving ever so gracefully through a grove of lush bushes dotted with large and vibrant 花 blossoms and imagined it if was Sesshomaru how peaceful an experience that would be. So he sent them.
Earlier he had informed Iblis and ヒイラギ, ホリー not to approach him, when he arrived. That he didn’t want the connection between them made just yet, but that he would approach them at the appropriate time. For now he was just a lonely traveler, looking to get out of the rain for a good time.
Tempted to order a third shot a maid approached him, another employee of the Inn.
“Are あなた Mister Benn’jinn sir?”
“I am,” he answered, taking note that this woman was different from the one he spoken to before. Her voice was sweeter, yet was just as stern, if not then it was もっと見る so.
“Very good, I am here to inform あなた that Tsuki accepts the terms of duel with あなた and that it will be scheduled for early-evening at six o’clock.”
“Six o’clock,” he mused, “well that’ll give me plenty of time to prepare,” he smiled, “very well tell him I will be waiting.” Apparently this woman would be in contact with Sesshomaru she would know if he was pleased—he received no notice though the myra doll.
“Miss,” he called out just as ガゼル turned to leave for the bathing room. Stopping her, curiously she turned back.
“About Tsuki,” he asked, in a pleading, almost bashful way, “did he like my flowers?”
ガゼル thought she had been splashed with a シャワー of warm water. This was delightful, he was asking, he wasn’t sure, and then it just dawned on her, this being is possibly as nervous and anxious about meeting Tsuki as Tsuki was over him—a perfect match!
She smiled, and 発言しました without unveiling too much, the man’s eyes were indeed closed. Apparently he did not use them, and said, “yes, I believe he does, very much.”
She watched his face transform, from one who was generous, to one that was kind and generous. His smile brightened up his every feature where if there was any doubt of unpleasantness about him it completely dissolved away till nothing was left but it on a flawless and cheerful face.
“Thank you.” He said, and then turned back to the bartender, “I think I’ll have another, I need to celebrate.” The bartended came right over and filled the shot glass. Yomi lifted it right up and into the air as if in salute, “he likes my flowers, Lord I thank あなた for this good fortune,” then tilting his head back in classic fashion he drank it down in one 迅速, スウィフト gulp. Slammed the glass down on the bar and smiled.
The other demons at the bar thought this was odd behavior または just assuming he was already drunk and ガゼル was somewhat alarmed によって it, but his accent was indeed foreign. It sounded eastern, and his brownish skin and black hair, not to mention that his horns did in fact give the impression that he’s a relative of the satyr race like she is, but which branch she couldn’t guess. Satyrs whose origin is in the east, but what struck her the most was his reference to the Lord.
So he’s religious? What’s he doing in a brothel, is it because he actually does know Tsuki that he’s willing to come here, and drink? He’s definitely a strange demon and if he is from the east, Tsuki might be in for an intriguing experience.
Demons of the east are well known for being religious, and often performed odd customs because of it. Tsuki I hope あなた can handle yourself, for I have a feeling this demon will be unpredictable. He seems nice, but happy faces can be deceiving, something she had learned the hard away もっと見る times then she cared to recall.
Nonetheless he seemed to be genuinely happy, もっと見る または less relieved, she had begun to hope he wouldn’t drink too much, wondering if six o’clock was a little too late, when he stood up from the bar.
“Well that’s enough for me,” and as if he could read her mind, he said, “Wouldn’t want to spoil my wits before the duel.” He was indeed tall. Tsuki would only come up to the upper portion of the man’s chest, hm a bigger man, I wonder how strong he is, and could he beat Tsuki. She quickly ran through her head the likely scenario of either outcome, Omiah losing the duel and then what would it be like if he won.
How would Tsuki face the fact of having to give his body away to a demon she suspected he already had a crush on? The thought both alarmed her and made her want to giggle, but she held in both urges and moved aside. Mister Omiah seemed to want to 移動する on to the dining hall.
She led the way, and he took a シート, 座席 in an out of the way two seated 表, テーブル 次 to a raised divider ベッド of potted plants and flowers. The man seemed to favor nature, she thought. And addressed the first waitress to serve him at once, but to 宇宙 it, he still had a full eight hours before his meeting with Tsuki. The man actually had time to go out on the town than to sit there and wait it out.
The waitress complied and went about as instructed. Yomi listened in to their conversation and wondered if stepping outside was a good idea. He thought if Iblis and Holly, and if they had completed the tasks he had instructed of him, a change of clothe something comfortable, and something befitting for a good match. He wanted a small bite to eat to help absorb the alcohol in his system before moving on to anything else.
Alcohol did serve its purpose, and after that third shot he was もっと見る at ease, but being tipsy is the last thing he wanted right now. So when the waitress came he ordered a loaf of パン and バター with a side of herbal dip. The human he ate before arriving had already long digested but he had yet regain any appetite, still appeased from the kill a simple loaf of パン was enough to keep him pacified for days so long as he wasn’t too active.
A duel with Sesshomaru however, now that was bound to be something, wondering at how much energy it would take to beat him, even in his bound down state, a demon like him was bound to be unpredictable. The thought brought a fresh grin to his lips, a fight with Sesshomaru… how I’ve always dreamed I’d hold the honor.
I’m glad I waited.
