I like FredxDaphne and ShaggyxVelma!

I loved them together since I was little and even thought about pairings.

I think that Shaggy and Daphne Are In Love. Firstly they have much more in common than Fred. Naturally Shaggy is Funny, and Daphne likes to laugh. I saw Velma and Shaggy together and though that was a COOL couple, at first. Then I saw their chemistry together and realized that this is not working. She is too smart and pushy. It's Like she is trying to make someone jealous. And when I saw Fred and Daphne together I though, it about time, however again after awhile it really didn't work. I'm sure they really like each other, but if you really do will you treat your girl friend that way. Not sure of this though, but here goes; I think Fred is liking Daphne's attention to him a lot more than Liking Daphne. Finally, I think Shaggy and Daphne will fine their way. If you look at love as a whole, The funny guys get the beautiful girl. One instance Roger Rabbit! I think they are afraid to admit their feelings cause that is real love.

SDMI not withstanding, I like the Shaggy/Velma and Fred/Daphne pairings.

I think if you stuck with writing the two couples as far as the characters like the older Hanna Barbera versions, with some slight additions to the characters families, lives , etc. from future series/movies, those two couples would be perfect.

Even SDMI had it's good points as far as the two pairings, but I don't think the Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated writers really knew everything about how to keep the romance and mystery balanced without resorting to the Twilight or Teen Romance stuff.
