i think it depends by science field. like bio is green, chem is purple, and geo is russet imhp

Green is very steriotypical for science. I think it should be *RAINBOW* because science is... I don't know how to say it but it is how the world-no the universe-and it's organisms work. The universe is all the colors, is it not?

i dunno, this is the way my file is color coded.
red/pink : eng
blue: math
history: brown
chinese: yellow
science: orange (in general)
but because i'm super organised i have mini tabs in my science folder (yeah i'm sorta a neat freak.)
Bio: black
Chem: green.
Phy: purple

for the individual science, mostly cause that is the most prominent color on my textbook. except for phy cause i ran out of colors.

Green means science for me! Now i see the connection between me loving green color as a toddler, and loving science as a teenager... XD

Meh, green is the colour that is always used to represent science, therefore I see no reason that it should have to change. although, I have to say that science is a multi-lateral subject therefore I agree with the idea that the entire spectrum of colours (rainbow) should be used to represent it. Plus, you learn about wavelength in science, which has all seven colours, so that should be a good representation.

I would probably go light blue
