I am often starting to be a ファン of something but If あなた are ファン of somebody/something there can always be a situation when あなた will want to stop it. Lets be honest. It often happens with me and I am sure a lot of people have had situation like that または something simmilar. But then あなた start to feel distracted. あなた don't know what to start with. Maybe あなた are even afraid of, for exmple, how others would take it. But don't worry. Here are a short guide that will help あなた to stop being a ファン easy and fast.
Step 1. Understanding.
So あなた just understood that あなた don't like this thing anymore? Lets think about it. Do あなた really want to stop? Won't あなた feel bad after it. Actually it is just theorical part of stopping being a ファン but it is important. あなた don't want to throw all your merchandise out and then cry and shout "I want it all back. I still 愛 it." Think twice before doing 次 steps.
Step 2. Big trashcan.
It is the most important and a quite symbolic step. あなた take everything off. All the posters, all little ファン things あなた have around you. Take everything away. It has symbolic meaning. Getting rid of obsession, of being a fan. Then throw everything out. EVERYTHING. Rip all the printouts, old posters. Get rid of all that. あなた are starting a new life. Congratulate yourself.
Step 3. Things that are worth money.
Probably あなた have something like CD's, DVD's, books, T-shirts, cups etc. Things that あなた have paid a money for and they are still worth it. あなた can throw them out of course but better idea is to just sell them. Maybe someone who is a ファン of a thing あなた are stopping to be a ファン of will buy them. Things are used so あなた won't probably sell them for the same price あなた bought them but anyway... Maybe your cousin likes them? Give them to him. Also あなた can donate things if あなた want. Poor people will be happy about almost new T-shirts even with あなた ex-idol pic on them.
Step 4. Digital cleaning.
Take your phone, tablet, computer and other devices and 削除 everything like 音楽 files, pics. It also may have symbolic meaning and あなた will get a lot of free 宇宙 in your computers memory. Clean all あなた social networks profiles. Maybe あなた have フェイスブック banner with your ex-idols pic. Change it! Unfollow it. Unsubscribe channels in youtube. 削除 thematic boards in pinterest. Stop being a ファン of クラブ in ファンポップ and other fanclubs.
Step 5. Let the world know it.
Stopped being a ファン of Justin Bieber but some months later your godmother gives あなた a cup with his pic on it for christmas, thinking that あなた still like him? Don't let it happen. Tell everybody that あなた are stopping being a fan. Write an arcticle in internet like I did. Tell it to your family and friends. Let them know.
Step 6. Start a new life.
Its the best part. あなた can find a new thing to be a ファン of. あなた can simply enjoy your freedom :) Remember, stopping being a ファン is good thing and あなた don't have to be ashamed because it oppens あなた to new opportunities, new things to like. Just be happy and proud of yourself about liking what あなた like and disliking what あなた dislike and if somebody says things like "How could あなた stop being his fan?I hate あなた for it. あなた ruined our friendship." Remember that あなた can do whatever あなた want and its your life no matter what others say.
