I would say hi または hello! My name is DJ!! What's your name? And I'll make a full blown conversation!!

Hi I'm KJ, isn't the weather .......

depends how old they are...
kids younger than me: what's your name?
Kids my age または close: hey, what's up bro?
Adults: hi, i'm alex.
Elderly: hi, i'm alex... are あなた a veteran?

Not say anything and try not to look at them until I end up 芝居 メリダとおそろしの森 and waving at them または saying a meek hi. I always feel awkward afterward though.

Hi what's your name? *answers* oh my name's K******. *awkward silence*... "So.... what kind of 音楽 do あなた like..."

On Fanpop, I post on their ウォール and give them a リスペクト and say, "Hi. Welcome To Fanpop! Hope あなた have fun & enjoy! <3"

Purdy simple. I AM a huggar, but I do not EVER touch someone without their permission and intentionally like that when I do not know someone well enough. I respect their space. I am a quiet person, but I would say hello and smile a little to a new person.

Sometimes I offer to be of any help if they have any questions, same at school and stuff.

Say hello, introduce myself and maybe shake their hand.
