What's your opinion of our generation's society?

It's better. It's better with every year, because with every 年 people are もっと見る tolerant and we're getting もっと見る equal.

Every generation complains and we don't notice how big are the positive changes.

Teenagers hooking up? In some countries they're MARRIED at this age.
LGBT discrimination? Should I remind あなた about the ways homosexuals were punished in the past?

Our generation is the best so far. If I could imagine living in better times, it's the future, so please stop 芝居 like my grandmother.

People have ロスト sight of the true meaning of their existance, they have ロスト sight of what passion and progress mean, and spend most of their teenagehood focused on sex, または popularity.
Teenagehood is a time where people should be exploring their interests and finding their passion, and 発言しました passion becomes, eventually, the meaning of their very existance. And only when あなた have found out your passion and know what kind of person あなた are, then あなた can start to think about taking on a serious relationship, possibly getting married and having children.

Well in my school i'm the smartest in my class and i don't get bullied または anything but i agree so much with the LGBT thing...

It's all a giant crapfest, but that's pretty much how it's always been.

In my country, people have been complaining for years that the police force is too soft, and criminals can pretty much do whatever they want. Just recently, a recording has been on the news with a female police officer kicking an intoxicated guy who refused to step inside the police vehicle in the nuts.

And suddenly, the whole country acts all butthurt, saying "She had no right to kick him like that! 火災, 火 her! Lock her up!". That woman had all the right, we've been saying that for years! But when it actually happens, we act like our noses bleed.

Today's society is all bark, no bite to me.

It is. The things being exposed to kids nowadays are awful. I don't understand MTV's motives. They'll 広告 abstinence and 安全, 安全です sex yet 表示する Jersey Shore. Kids nowadays are very impressionable. I visited my town middle school two years ago. The chorus students in my school went there to sing for them and educate the eighth graders (incoming freshman) about our chorus. When I was there I saw girls with makeup caked on their faces and skirts almost exposing their underwear. Sixth grade boys swearing and talking about how many girls they want to hook up with before high school and how much weed they want to smoke. I have no problem with smoking weed since it's pretty much harmless but for a middle schooler (or anyone in that matter) to be smoking it religiously is a disgusting habit. Middle school kids shouldn't be smoking it at all to be honest. Honestly, in middle school I was waiting for a Hogwarts letter and listening to the Jonas Brothers. I was NOT doing up to half of the things these kids are doing.

I blame technology. Us 90s (or any decade before) kids were raised to play outside and with toys. 2000s kids were raised around technology whether it's TVs, computers, MP3 players, and phones. I do community service at my towns' elementary school and I see kids in the 3rd grade with iPHONES. I didn't get a phone until I was 12 and it was a crappy flip phone for emergencies. I wasn't able to text until freshman 年 and I didn't get a Smartphone until JUNIOR year. I've seen 5th graders with Facebooks. フェイスブック is a site for students who are about to graduate high school and want to keep in touch with their high school friends. These kids are using it to bully others.

Society is freakin' terrible, pressuring young girls into puberty and relationships, they aren't ready for. and pressuring guys to do the same.

Forcing likes and dislike on people, and telling teenage girls who to like. and for teenage boys, how to dress, and act.

Also cliques. They are the fucking stupidiest thing. They basically throw a bunch of "similar" kids together and stick a label on them. They treat them like they are all the same, when in fact they are soo different.


Society is a judgmental fucking asshole, if you're gay, あなた shunned, if your lesbian, your shunned, if your bisexual your shunned, if あなた have a mental disability your shunned, if あなた aren't like everybody else, you're shunned. Society makes children think there is the perfect self, yet it's unreachable. Is teen magazines, it tell girls how to dress and act, and how to tell if a boy likes them または not, または how to make their boobs look bigger, and they shouldn't be concerned about that until the are older, and quite a bit older.

today's society sickens me, tell あなた who to be, who to act, who to dress.

I wish kids would stop falling into the hands of society and start being themselves, and not be so focused on fitting it, and worry about how the look and whatnot, it's not a healthy way of life, AT ALL. It's sad honestly.

Looking at the majority of our generation, we positively suck right now. We have an education right at our fingertips, paid for によって other people, and yet they'd rather pay attention to MTV, the newest thing some celebrity 発言しました on Twitter, and deciding who to hook up wiht next. We may be one of the dumbest generations yet. I'm scared of what the world's going to look like when we become adults, and have kids. Not that being a kid または teen is stopping them from having any. If anything, there's going to be a lot もっと見る jobs at abortion clinics, with how we're acting. This is why I'm glad I go to a private, Christian school. Most people there have a sense of dignity, and common sense.

And yes, we are the most accepting generation yet. But we tend to discard religion like it's nothing. Nobody cares if a Christian is offended によって something they say, または do. I may be biased, because I am a Christian. But I feel like it's true.

There are several things wrong with it, a countless number of things. But there are good things in it, too. Things that we can learn from, mistakes that we can correct. There is room for improvement, there is always room for improvement. There are still things that we have yet to learn, ideas that are outdated and need changing, but I have hope for our future, and even for our present. The world is only as bad as we paint it to be, so why don't we all work together to paint it to be the way we want it to be?
