What are メダル for?

メダル are like a prize for users who simply contributed a lot to a club. They're like a reward... They aren't useful または anything though, I guess it's just so that other users can see them...

And for the fb question, I won't be rude または anything since you're new ;) it does look like フェイスブック but a lot of people have been saying that and keep complaining about it and it's extremely annoying... But you're new so it's fine ;)
