Why???

アニメ are TV shows... and I like TV shows... not to mention the art is much better than most カートゥーン I get on TV at my house because the artists actually put a lot of effort into it. I also find that the plots are much better than most "ordinary" カートゥーン I come across.

To me, アニメ is just another form of TV 表示する that I like to watch. Each 表示する is individual, so it really depends on the アニメ on whether I think it's my type of 表示する または not. I usually don't like to clump every single one together and label them all as "anime" because each アニメ 表示する has a genre with a different plot. Some animes I like, some I don't like.
