I think the thing is a rug, but I'm not sure, it's just a pic I found when I googled The Sopranos Christopher (Christopher is the one wrapped in the thing.) and they are mobsters so the other could very well kill him.

Haha, well in the pilot episode the wrapped up guy (Christopher) was complaining to his uncle that he had a stomach that morning and his mom had thought he shouldn't even come into work, that always cracks me up since he's a mobster.
