Well my friend and I were walking to the store and this chick comes up to me and says 'Hi', I 発言しました Hi back not thinking too much about it.

She started telling me I look nice and blah blah and I just 発言しました I wasn't into girls.
My フレンズ was like, after the lady left, "OMG, if that was me she was talking to, I would have freaked out."
I was like "Why?"
She goes "Because she was a girl...that's so not cool."
Me: O_0

I didn't see what the big deal was.
She just expressed her interest in me. Although I denied her, its nothing to get all 'weirded out' about.

Are あなた like my friend and get freaked when someone the same sex as あなた are, approaches you?

The first one was easy to get rid of.
