If I'm just kind of sad, I usually read. Happy または sad book help. Happy 本 can make あなた feel happy sad 本 can make あなた forget about your own troubles and feel compassion for someone else. (Or あなた can laugh at the characters for having a worse life than yourself. Depending on how malicious あなた are)
または I just listen to this song. It's the only song that'sever succeeded at cheering me up.
