That's whats wrong with kids nowadays. They assume it's a sacred rule that あなた must have one billion items on your クリスマス list. What's wrong with just a few? I only have 6 things on my list. The less あなた put on your list, the もっと見る money your parents can save up for もっと見る important things. How about asking yourself a few 質問 first?

1. Do あなた really need the things on your list?
We don't really NEED anything we put on our lists, but it's best not to ask for things just for the hell of it. If it's going to end up in a box in the attic of stuffed in the back of your closet within a month, it's best not to ask for it.
2. Have あなた thought about what your parents could spend that money on?
A trip to the amusement park? A meal at a nice restaurant? Maybe even a new TV? The possibilities are endless. Now, would あなた rather have one of those things または that new super expensive video game system?
3. Can あなた honestly take care of that new pet?
I see あなた asked for a baby turtle. It may not be a dog または cat, but turtles still require a lot of responsibility.
