could i get your thoughts on which game is better, I'm planning on buying a ds before the end of the year

i've played pokemon heartgold and black. in black, the graphics are awesome, the pokemon actually move during a battle, but in heartgold the pokemon always walks beside you and there's also a pokethalon. so i guess i'll go with heartgold:)

As its a replica of Silver/Gold, so it makes it a better option in my eyes.

Depends on if you've played the original Gold/Silver but the basic story line is similar and it's straightforward compared to Black/White and Black 2 /White 2 which to some extent may be trickier in terms of the storyline and such there are many differences from the original Gold/Silver especially including the new Pokemon are in it and the Gym layouts are very much changed around and more complex if you will compared to the original however I feel Black and Black 2 are much better in terms of storyline,graphics but that's just my opinion..in terms of getting one first I think Heart Gold and Soul Silver would be the best choice.

You can just go with the latest ones if you want! And there is Diamond/Pearl, they are good too or if you like Gold/Silver you can with HGSS. I think just go with Black 2/White 2.
