Have to say in my earlier games they were all physical moves now I feel my Pokemon teams' moves are a lot more balance compared I've learned Pokemon is more than just attacking it's about strategy so I usually keep attacks like Glare/Leer and even Poison Power and such at first I thought they were meaningless because they didn't lower the oppositions HP but they do lower their stats which can make it easier..well actually poison powers lowers the oppositions HP a little each turn but anyway I think my Pokemon team has a fair amount of all three type of moves.

Well... I use status moves as long as if it recovers health, changes the pokemon's status to poison or burn them, or traps (e.g Spikes, Poison Spikes, etc.)

Mixed Sweepers=Pokemon with both Physical and Special moves set in a way to deal with multiple or all of the pokemon on the opposing team.
