I like both but Ralph Waldo Emerson's poems were transcendental so I'll go for this one.

I like both myself, but I tend to like poems heavy in imagery.

While imagery is a key principle to ensure mellifluous poetry, it is greatly efficient to implement one's own perspectives and mind frames if one desires to publish personalised work. There is not a reason for composition if a piece is merely an emulation of another strategy.
