"I should done something for her."
"Skipper."
"I knew she was dying, but why didn't I do anything about it?"
"Skipper."
"I could have done something nice for her, something to 表示する how much I really cared for her.
"Skipper!"
"And now she's gone."
"Skipper!"
"And I did nothing to make her last days unforgettable."
"SKIPPER!"
Skipper rolled his eyes. "What, Kowalski?! What could possibly be so important right now?!?"
Kowalski sighed. "Look," He started, "I feel the same way あなた feel right now. But the past is over. Blaming yourself for not doing anything for her earlier won't get あなた anywhere. Sometimes あなた have to just take a deep breath and 移動する on. It may be hard at first, but this is life. Life is hard. あなた just have to learn to deal with whatever is thrown in your way."
Skipper stared at Kowalski. Then he looked down towards his feet and didn't say anything.
Kowalski sighed and spoke up again. "I have to tell あなた something."
..."What?"
"Before Heidi - er - left, like way before she left, probably a 年 ago-"
"Just get to the point."
"Um, she told me something. I'm not sure if she told あなた the same thing, only me. Probably because it had もっと見る to do with me-"
"You're boring me, Kowalski."
"Er, right. Well, she told me something that kinda stuck to me. Like a code that all penguins should know-"
"Just say it already!"
"Never swim alone."
..."What?"
"That's what she told me. 'Never swim alone.' She means that no ペンギン should have to deal with a situation または roam alone によって himself. あなた should always have a friend that has your back the whole way. 'Never swim alone.' It's like a code. Heidi told me that."
Skipper was silent.
"So, あなた can't deal with this problem of yours によって yourself. あなた have フレンズ that will help あなた through it. Like me and Rico."
Rico, who had been listening in on the penguins' conversation, smiled towards Skipper and nodded enthusiastically.
Skipper looked up at Kowalski. "I wish I could've done something for her. Something she always wanted to do."
"That's another thing."
..."What?"
"Heidi actually did tell me something that she wish she could've done."
"What?"
"A long time ago, I remember Heidi telling me about how much she wanted to travel to South America. She 発言しました she's heard a lot about it and thought it sounded cool. She 発言しました it would've been her dream vacation to visit there sometime. But she was rational. She knew it could never happen." Kowalski took a deep breath, "But I think we could make the impossible possible. We can escape down to South America, and we will be doing it for Heidi." Kowalski smiled. He really liked his plan.
..."What?"
"Yeah, I know, that's completely crazy. I must have gone insane または something. Besides, we can't escape from the zoo."
Skipper smiled at Kowalski. "Hmmm, あなた are crazy, Kowalski, but I decide I dig your plan. Like あなた said, we can make the impossible possible."
Kowalski smiled back. He was beginning to think for a 秒 that Skipper thought he was truely insane.
"Well Rico, what do あなた think?" Skipper asked.
Rico stared at the two others wide eyed. But he loved adventure. He nodded with a wide grin on his face.
Skipper turned back towards Kowalski. "So, where exactly in South America are we headed to?"
Kowalski pulled out a map of the world. "According to my calculations, we will end up at zero degrees latitude and eighty-two degrees longitude, if we sneak on board a plane heading down there."
"Er, okay then. I'll just guess zero degrees longitude, または what ever あなた said, is in South America."
"Ecuador, to be exact." Kowalski smiled.
"When's the 次 flight to South America?"
"If I'm correct," Kowalski thought, "The 次 flight leaving from the airport to South America will be at... 9:15 A.M Eastern Time. Tomorrow."
Just then, Johnson and Manfredi came down the ladder from the 魚 bowl enterance.
Skipper glared at Johnson. "Where were あなた guys? You've been gone for nearly an hour."
"I was teaching Manfredi proper techniques to be a soldier. I trained him well. I think he's improving."
Skipper turned towards Manfredi. He looked like he was going to puke. "Yeah, whatever. Start packing up your necessities, we're leaving tomorrow."
Johnson glanced quizzingly at Skipper. "Where are we going?"
"South America."
Johnson stared at Skipper as if he's gone mental.
"What?!?"
"Ecuador, to be exact," Kowalski added with a smile. "We are doing it for Heidi."
Editor's note: as あなた saw from part three, i added in Johnson and Manfredi. Since not much is 発言しました about these two identities, I had to put my mind to work to be able to come up with new personalities for them. Johnson is the stupid bossy one, Manfredi is the whiny baby. as あなた can probably tell, fate lies ahead of them. and then you'll find out what really happened to these misfits - from my point of view.(because of course i can't let them live.) ;)
