One day, I went jogging with my dog, Redford. As we were jogging, I tripped and fell. As I fell, my ankle made a horrible cracking sound. It sound like the snapping of a 木, ツリー branch breaking. I didn't try to get up at first. As I was lying there, Redford licked my face. I was still holding the lead, and he didn't offer to slip out of his 襟, 首輪 and run off. I only had Redford for a few weeks, and he was already strongly bonded to me. I tried to get up, but my ankle was really hurting. Reluctantly, I let Redford off of the lead and said, "Go get help!" He took off. I sat there and held my throbbing ankle. Just when I was about to lose hope, I saw Redford. My friend, Brian, was running close behind. He said, "Aubrey, your 子犬 showed up at my house. I figured あなた were in trouble." He then noticed me holding my ankle, and he asked, "Did あなた hurt your ankle?" I said, "Yeah. I'm not able to get up." He helped me to my feet, but trying to walk on my ankle was too painful. He said, "Lean on me for support. I'll help あなた get home." Brian clipped the lead back to my dog's 襟, 首輪 and helped me get home. Once at home, my mother said, "I think あなた need to see a doctor." I was taken to the hospital. Luckily, I only suffered a mild sprain. The 次 day, as I was resting my ankle, Brian visited with me. He asked, "How's your ankle?" I said, "It's okay. I'll be able to put pressure on it in a few days." He said, "That's good. I think that it might be better if あなた had a human jogging companion as well." I asked, "Are あなた going to take up jogging?" He said, "Yeah." I said, "Okay. I'll go back to jogging when my ankle completely heals. You'll need to pace yourself, and you'll need a lot of water." Once my ankle healed, Brian and I went jogging. Of course, Redford enjoyed having the extra company. Huskies are so friendly, and they 愛 everyone. That night, when I went to bed, I was exhausted, but I was happy. That 日 was the best 日 I had in a long time.
