season 4 is sooooooooo lame lucas hair is soo bad nathan and haley suck this year,haley never haave storylines in all season 2-4 she bored as hell but when 5-8 happen she rocked the seasons.

Now it's hard, these are all my favorite seasons.
Season 6 is awesome (and my favorite for Leyton, my OTP) but 1, 3 and 4 are the reasons why I love this show so much for storyline and everything and I tend to prefer high school seasons (with an obvious exception..) 4 is the best ever!

This is getting difficult, I loved LP in season 6 but some of the other storylines weren't that good

I'm really surprised season 6 is still here! It's so much of what's boring and annoying in OTH in my opinion. It had some great things and some great story lines... but the majority of the season was stuff that bothered me and imo had many of the main characters at their worst (no story line for Haley, repetitive Nathan, depressed Brooke, boring Lucas). But that was when the main characters even got screen time and we weren't watching characters and couples like Skills & Deb, Lauren, Skills & Lauren, Victoria, Mouth & Millicent, Nanny Carrie, Mick, Jamie & Madison, Chuck, Brooke & Owen, Chase, Mia, Chase & Mia...etc.

I admit (and always have) that S6 is definitely when the show started to de-rail a little bit. The storylines started to get more "out there", more secondary characters and storylines were being introduced, focus on the core 5, and interraction between the core 5 started to get more and more minimal, etc.

...but, I still love it. Granted, mostly because of Leyton. But even aside from LP, there WERE still other episodes, and storylines that I enjoyed. I wouldn't necessarily choose this season to represent OTH by any means, or recommend it to someone who has never seen the show. But I do find myself watching it (and even enjoying it) WAY more than season 1. Yes, season 1 is classic. But I would never think of just popping it in the DVD player, and watching it for the day. Because it just moves very slow, and some of the acting, and storylines were in the "amature" stage at that point.

Season 6 is just much more entertaining to me than season 1 is. So... I'm still going with season 1 for my vote!

Season 6 sucks compared to the other seasons. It is when it started to go bad. Leyton were boring and Brooke was depressed (although I liked the storyline with her attack) and in general the storylines werent the best. Brucas had like 3 scenes all together and all the new couples took a lot of screen time from the core 5.
Season 5 was great in my opinion and really interesting! I am sad it is out.

I love some of the storylines in season 4, but the tear down of not only Brucas&Breytonm but also Brooke's character makes this season hard for me to watch. I've said this before, but I feel like Brooke was really disconnected from the group in this season. Season one would be next, because I agree with Kellyerin87, it's not the first season I'd pop in the dvd player for an all day marathon. Next would be season 6, although I do love it...and well season 3 is of course my favorite!!!
