Look I love Luke he is my favorite Male character but he really pissed me off this episode with the way he was acting I really didn't like how he told Lindsey about the engagement I know she wasn't listening to him when he tried to tell her but he should not have blurted it out. I really didn't like him during the phone call with Peyton maybe that is just me but I have seen that a lot of fans were pissed with him.

no...man, lol. I just thought he was dumb with holding off telling lindsey. Otherwise, he was a perfect gentleman to lindsey, and you can tell that despite the residual feelings they have for one another (which is understable), luke doesn't regret choosing peyton. And he was nice to Peyton over the phone (he just wasn't all fluffy and cheesy like we've been getting a little too used to). He told peyton like it was and he really did have to go to the meeting, so whatever. It was refreshing.

I don't think he was full on jack ass, but like... he was on the verge of being one :P He had a long relationship with lindsey, and he didn't want to hurt her... he thought he was doing the right thing, he just made a mistake. As for talking on the phone to peyton, he didn't know she was upset, seeing as she hasn't really told him... so yeah. I think he was kinda being a jackass without knowing it.

no he is not except the fact that he avoid the subject he told 3 times he can't go to chicago and then she start to explain to him that chicago it's important but he juste say that it was is wedding day . How many he was suppose to say i can't before she finally get it

he wasn't in my opinion...Lindsey kept talking about Chicago unstopable and he had to say it!!!he was a bit harsh but then he was very nice,he didnt mean to hurt her!!!i support him 100% on this one..coz everybody could have done this...when someone talks and talks and doesnt stop you must say something that will shock him-her at first but then try to explain like Luke did!!he didnt say to her:Shut up..im going to get married then, so NO chicago!!it was ok!!!it wasnt perfect and it wasn't the nicest way to say it but it was ok in my opinion!!as for Peyton i wasn't upset he was normal..not to cheesy not to whiny..it was normal!!

The only thing was when he didnt told Lindsey.. Other then that he was awesome!

The only thing that bothered me was that he told Lindsey in such a way..I mean..I DISLIKE her but he could have told her before..It must have been hard for her!
I LOVED how he seemed..I mean..We could see in his eyes that he didn't regret nothing..and during the call with Peyton..Well, I liked him cause when she told him nothing was going on..he said "What is going on Peyton?"..aww he knows her SO WELL!!

omg some of you lp fans are crazy!!!!!!!!! did you see the way he told her... one week ago he was telling that he loved her! now he's getting married to someone else! i mean come on that's gotta hurt! peyton had 2 years to get over lucas, lindsey doesn't even get a week! what an ass!

brucas4ever what is wrong with you? You don't have to be so rude! Just cause our opinions are different from yours doesn't make us crazy! He didn't mean to blurt it out. Lindsey was attacking him and it just came out. He "could" have told lindsey about the wedding earlier though. But he said he didn't mean/want to hurt her. It's not like I don't feel bad for the girl though, but the fact that she's hurt doesn't make luke a "jack*ss" IMO. His dumbness is in the past; this is simply residual consequences (lindsey's broken heart) from luke's dumb decisions in s5. He was a schmuck in s5 cause he hadn't learned from his past mistakes about hiding his heart: he said yes @ that altar (lying to his heart). Lindsey was the one who left him @ the altar, so she chose to leave (being smart; brave; dignifying). peyton on the other hand didn't end things, luke did, so she never had closure no matter how long she had compared to lindsey. At least lindsey knew her decision was right. Peyton had two years to pine beforehand and realized she couldn't be without Luke, go back home to fight 4 him, & to find him with someone else; peyton knew luke's decision was wrong - that's why she never stopped waiting, but did let him go so he could figure things out on his own, which took a lot of selfless faith.
& for the record, lindsey had longer than a week. Remember, OTH time from 512 till 6.05. Much longer than a week (at least a month if you add up luke's cruise & his drunken fest), but it doesn't matter how long cause she'll always love him. Just like Peyton. Only difference is, luke loves & wants to be/is meant to be with peyton (at least for now). This season he's being true to his heart -no turning back, so i'm proud of him.

what does this have to do with closure? Lindsey, Brooke, or Peyton have never had closure with lucas. If he had closure with Brooke and Lindsey why were they even a possibility in him asking one of them to Vegas?

but I'm not one of them. stop generalizing leyton fans like we all think that way. cause most leyton fans loathe luke these days for all the crap he's pulled over the years. I don't loathe him, but I do think he's made some dumb decisions, a.k.a, season 5. This season however, he's redeeming himself, and though he was dumb in not telling lindsey about the wedding sooner, he was a gentleman to both her and peyton, so I won't call him a jack*ss for it. This question is about 605, not about season 1 (cheating on brooke) or 5 (cheating on lindsey), but you seem to be bringing those up which are irrelevant in this poll! This is about running back to peyton 5 seconds later, this is about destiny & luke being true to his heart. Not ALL leyton fans think how you're describing and it's a little narrow minded to generalize us that way.

Ok, what closure do you need? Brooke and Lucas, 408 ring a bell??? The 601 brucas dream was a tribute to what brucas had. You guys keep getting mad at mark for downplaying what brucas had, but the second he pays tribute or acknowledges what they did have by including brooke in a possibility of being the girl for him (seeing as how he was once in love with her), you see it as something more than it is!
I won't deny that Lindsey and Luke didn't really have closure, but 605 was definitely a start. Lundsey do still love eachother, but peyton's the love of luke's life and lindsey knows she and luke are not meant to be.

who said peyton was the love of lucas' heart?? i don't think lindsey and lucas are meant to be either (i thought they were really cute though). They had chemistry but nothing compared to BL..

Idk i don't really think theres a point to this show anymore Mark keeps going on about how he wants people to get a message from the show, what about his message right now "if you cheat with your best friends boyfriend you will, get him in the end and you'll both be happy"

what did luke do in s5 that was so wrong??? how about kissin peyton then proposing to lindsey the same night? I won't condone peyton's part in it, but it takes two to cheat! and they didn't cheat out of lust, there was obviously love there cause lindsey told luke that very same night "I need you to stop being in love with peyton" and he never replied in denial.
or how about lying to his heart when lindsey called him on the comet thing? obviously he admitted he was lying to his heart after he apologized to lindsey in 605 saying he never meant to hurt her. after 507, luke was just being a coward. And you you leyton fans are too easy on luke. Even brucas fans saw how much of a schmuck luke was in s5, i'm surprised you don't see that. I don't get "it's ok to cheat" from OTH. but I won't debate about that now. It's late :P

okay kissing peyton was wrong but that's it! all last season a lot of lp fans were complaining about how much of an ass lucas is before he even kissed peyton..

Luke chose Peyton in 601 after imagining himself married to all 3 girls! If that's not closure, I don't know what you're looking for. K, brucas4ever, I never called luke a butt BEFORE he kissed peyton. Even after 507 I didn't call him a butt persay. and I never hated him so there you go. and I'm sure even you knew (despite your preferences) that luke clearly still loved peyton while he was hiding with lindsey. If you can't see that then we must not be watching the same show cause all the brucas fans I've debated with (ecka chan, livelovelaugh, leightonfan, 1treehillfan, realluvalways, etc.) saw that. The fact that luke couldn't even deny his feelings for peyton was a clear cut sign and yet he still dragged lindsey along for the heartbreak rollercoaster.

I'm sorry, I totally disagree about you thinking luke wasn't hiding his heart, common! It was far more than being a kid in a candy store. It's about hiding his heart and repeating the same mistake he made in s1 (hiding with brooke - and s5 was all the same when he hid with lindsey). but we'll just agree to disagree cause we'll just keep going back and forth cause clearly we don't see it the same!

I know you never said only me. that's not what I was offended about. I was just saying that you seem to generalize LP fans so much, but you forget that are still a good number of us who think otherwise. So I was using myself as an example.
I won't disagree that luke was in love with lindsey. He'll always care for her. Again, it's easy to love someone, but as we all know, love is not enough. Luke has more than love with Peyton IMO :)

well, my opinions aren't as heated as some people on here. I just think that CMM doesn't act with emotion anymore and it makes him come off as kind of a jerk.
I don't think it was a bad thing that he told Lindsay. It doesn't matter how long he waited, she would have had to find out eventually and she would have known that she was right about his feelings for Peyton so that's going to hurt.
Mostly, I just don't care.
