Am I really the only Oncer here that likes Greg? :P LoL (Well,I guess I am but I really had to do this)
Sometimes I feel bad to see all the hate that this character gets 'cause he doesn't deserve it IMHO.
Actually Greg is among my top 10 favourite OuaT characters! Yeah he is! Why?

Because I simply can't come to hate a person when I know that everything he did was driven by his love for his lost parent!
Don't forget that his mother was already dead & in the blink of an eye he lost his father too(disappeared in a god forsaken town where magic was real & no one seemed to know about its existence).

His “ I'll find you, Dad. I promise, I'll never stop looking.” as a young boy still gives me the chills!

And after nearly 30 years he did. And only his perseverance is admirable!Don't you agree?

Well I do admit that Greg wasn't an angel (the scene where he tortures Regina still gives me mixed feelings & it hurts like hell to watch) but unlike Tamara he didn't deserve such a death!

You can see it in his eyes just a few moments before his shadow is being ripped out that he realizes he was being tricked with this whole "office" thing & "let's destroy all the magic" crap.

Greg he's kind of just a dweeb. He's a wannabe villain. I probably wouldn't dislike him as much if he wasn't so geeky. He just has that whiney pouty voice and it doesn't work well. And he tortured Regina so that's always a minus. He was pretty much just a pawn and was very ignorant. And he had this constant kicked puppy look. He also kidnapped a little boy--which is ten times as bad seeing as he went through almost the same exact thing, and he knew it messed him up.

However I do feel a bit bad for him as he did lose his parents and all he wanted to do was find his dad.

Owen was sweet, but Greg was an ass. He tortured Regina which is inhumane even to do to someone who killed your father. It's inhumane to torture anyone. I find him horrible. He's also just a dweeb and annoying.

I feel incredibly sorry for him - the scene in the woods where he finds his fathers body is heartbreaking - but beyond that he's just not all that interesting.

Also, I don't blame him for what he did. He did it out of love and if I can love Gina after what she's done then I cant hate Greg for what he did, because lets face Gina's done much worse for reasons not nearly as good.

Yeah he's just annoying and not interesting

I feel really sorry for him, but at the same time, he's done some horrible things. Between him and Tamara, Tamara was way worse
