How could anyone have come up with this?

These "Trainers" and their battling, it hurts my friends.

Why does it seem that they don't understand that

ポケモン have feelings, too?

These trainers who abuse their Pokémon,

My Team Plasma will stop them now.

The legendary dragon, I shall befriend,

And help me defeat the champion.

When I succeed at doing this the Unova

Region will see me as their new hero,

They'll release their Pokémon, freeing them from their abuse,

At that point they'll all be willing.

Although, it is such a shame that despite this,

There are a few trainers who are kind to them.

And it's even worse; my only human friend,

Is one of these kind trainers.
