It was a fine 日 in the town of Ponyville, whereas everypony was doing their usual business, whether it be going around doing errands, meeting up with other ponies, または just to have some entertainment going on. At Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie just came in, ready to start business with the Cake family. But something wasn't right with her... "If only I had somepony to hang out with. As in having a coltfriend," Pinkie said. She was feeling rather lonely, though there were a lot of stallions to meet up with and have a relationship with. Unfortunately, most of them were already taken, and that felt a little worse for Pinkie Pie. 'If only I had somepony to have a long relationship with,' Pinkie thought to herself.

Meanwhile, in the gardens of Canterlot Castle, Princesses Luna and Celestia were taking a stroll, 表示中 Princess Cadance, Shining Armor, and the demon Chrysalis the statues of the many ヒーローズ in the past years. Then they came across the statue of Discord, still in his prison after the Elements of Harmony defeated him. "What could he do to escape?" Shining Armor asked. "If there was an imbalance in harmony, he would then escape, but now, he can't do anything," Celestia explained. Then they left the statue of Discord. Meanwhile, in the realm Discord was imprisoned in, he felt the same feelings Pinkie Pie felt: loneliness. "Oh, how I ever want to find somebody to have a lasting relationship outside of this place," Discord said. "I just want to be free again, but I'll be imprisoned によって Twilight Sparkle and her little フレンズ again! It'll irritate me!" He then summoned an orb so he can find someone to love. He said, "Who am I supposed to find? Who should I love?" The orb answered with someone... No. SomePONY, to be exact. The orb told him to find Pinkie Pie, who was laying on her bed. "The Element of Laughter? HA! Who are あなた to judge, orb?" Discord laughed at the answer he was given, thinking it was an excuse または a trick. But he stopped laughing because a little laughter came out of him, likely from the Element itself. And there it was, 次 to him. The Element of Laughter's shade, standing 次 to him. "Uh-oh..." Discord was in trouble, because the Element's shade cast a mighty spell on him destroying most of his chaotic powers.

Outside the garden, Celestia was getting a weird sense. Her horn showed something wrong, as the statue of Discord was shattered! "Oh, no! HE ESCAPED AGAIN!!!" cried Celestia. She ordered many of her guards to come with her and find Discord. She then warned Twilight about the emergency going on. In a rush, Twilight Sparkle hurried to Fluttershy's cottage to recruit her for the task to be done. They then went to RD's 雲, クラウド home, then Sweet 林檎, アップル Acres, then Carousel Boutique. As soon as Twilight gathered most of her friends, it was time to get Pinkie Pie, but as soon as they arrived to her room, it was too late! Pinkie Pie was gone! She was with Discord, who landed in her room after the Element's blast shot him out of his prison. Perhaps it must have been his destiny to be with her. Anyways, they were gone!

Meanwhile, at the castle, Luna was talking to Discord about what happened. Since most of his powers were gone, he was chained to the ウォール of her room. "How did あなた escape?" Luna asked. "The shade of the Element of Laughter shot me out," Discord replied. He knew that he would be in big trouble, as well as Luna for hiding him. "Discord, what were あなた doing earlier?" Luna asked again. "I was looking for someone to love. It led me to Pinkie Pie, but I don't know why," he said. "Perhaps it was destiny that brought あなた to her. The Element of Laughter may turn あなた into somepony あなた may not realize about yourself," Luna said. She was right. Discord was changing, even though he may not know it yet, until Pinkie said, "I was feeling lonely as well. Maybe we can spend some time together, Discord. I don't wanna be lonely." Discord thought about it for a moment, then he said, "Okey-Dokey-Lokey. Maybe we can be together. If it's destiny, then I accept it!" Upon saying that, Celestia, along with Twilight and the others burst into the room. Now there's going to be trouble. または not.

"I've been overhearing what あなた three were saying," Celestia said, concerned, yet angry that Discord was out of his prison. "Give me one good reason why my student and her フレンズ shouldn't banish あなた again!" Pinkie stood in front of them all, being serious about her 愛 with Discord. "I 愛 him!" she said, because when she was being taken with Discord, they talked and laughed together, and then came to Luna since her elder sister wasn't around. "You can't take away somepony who loves one another!" Pinkie said. "Leave us!" Everyone couldn't believe it. The Element of Laughter was in 愛 with someone who used to be bad, yet Celestia and the 5 of the Mane 6 still thought he was bad. "It seems that the Element of Laughter defeated chaos," Luna told her sister. Everyone but Pinkie and Celestia left. Then, the ruler of 日 said, "If it truly is destiny, then I accept it, as well as you, Discord." She accepted the bond between Pinkie Pie and Discord.

Soon, everything went back to normal, but tonight, Pinkie has a 日付 with Discord. Destiny truly has brought them together.

Moral: If あなた find someone あなた love, then destiny may bring a lasting bond between あなた and the one あなた love.
