Having seen the 2009 postumous musical documentary, "This Is It", I just wanted to cry for the reason Michael put in all his time and hard work in to making his last コンサート tour a success, but sadly he never got to see all of it come into fruition. In my opinion, I felt that this movie documentary could've received a postumous Oscar nominaton, または an honorable mention so to speak. At his press conference back in March of that 年 at the O2 Arena in ロンドン Michael announced his official retirement from the コンサート stage as he stated, "The final curtain call".
Having been released world just four months prior to his passing on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, it drew in $20,000,000 worldwide at the box office, which made the film a huge success. speaking for myself personally, I enjoyed watching the film; in addition, to to getting a プレビュー of what his final コンサート was going to be like, and the remake "Thriller", alongside the whole 表示する was going to be done in 3-D. Watching the movie brought tears to my eyes knowing he wasn't going to be around to see how successful this last コンサート tour was going to turn out.
Another reason why he decided to do the tour, was because he wanted to 表示する his children why the ファン loved him; in addition, paying off the debts he's accumulated over the years. Who knows, this final コンサート would have out Michael back on the map if he'd just hung on in there. What I liked the about movie was the interaction and the friendship he's had with his dancers and backing vocalists, and it seemed like he was starting to get his groove back. Just によって seeing the smile on his on his face, rehearsing, and doing some the major dance moves proved that that he still had it, and he was back to reclaim his タイトル as the "King of Pop". I felt sorry for the people who never got to see the after spending their hard earned money for tickets to see his 表示する in London, but at least I got see プレビュー what it was going to be like.
I give this this movie 5*****for the best movie documentary I've ever seen, and it's kind of sad he almost made it to the finish line. Whenever I see this movie on cable, I feel tears swelling up in my eyes for the reason this was going be the greatest 表示する on Earth.

Just a week before the telecast, Manilow stated the Michael asked a week in advance to participate in the musical tribute, and he told he would. Manilow spoke highly of Michael during that interview back in 2009.
