Ah, GCSEs results day. The single most stressful day of any teenager\'s life (aside from One Direction tour ticket release day, obviously). But while there\'s so much frickin\' pressure on everyone to ace their exams these days, 5SOS\'s Luke Hemmings has admitted his grades dropped as the band got bigger.

If you picked up your results today and didn\'t get quite what you wanted, it\'s probably pretty comforting to know that Luke\'s currently off on tour round the world with one of the biggest bands right now and, yeah, grades weren\'t everything.

Having a chinny chin chinwag with Scott Mills off of BBC Radio 1 fame, Luke said: "For everyone that\'s doing their GCSEs out there in the UK I hope it goes well. I probably would fail them, but I hope you don\'t fail them.

"The 16-year-old exams, they\'re called something different in Australia, I did well in. As I got older and the band became more of a thing I got worse and worse at my exams; not to send a bad influence.

"It was still all up in the air [when I was 16] but the grades went down as the band went up. You could make a pretty sweet graph out of it, actually."

In further news, Luke admitted that winning essentially every award under the sun means the 5SOS boys are struggling to be creative with their acceptance speeches. He added: "It becomes more and more difficult to thing of a funny acceptance speech, but as long as you thank everyone you\'re pretty safe. Everyone says a similar thing, that\'s why we try and say something different but a lot of the time we get nervous."
