This pick should have been more fair if it was titled as 'in both books and show together' so those who have not read them would least likely vote. I myself have read it, it is so very beautiful and key to understanding the history of how Middle Earth was created, by who, and for what purpose. But just because people have not read the book, does not make them less a great fan of LOTR. I am just asking fans to be polite and to not accuse people and be mean about. The S. is not as well known. Some just do not like to read, and prefer the movie, or some prefer the Books. This tends to be a common problem with books turned into movies. Please do not look down on fans who are not aware of things like that, I think it goes against the spirit of humility which is a major theme in the books, and characteristic of Tolkien himself. Some, like myself love both very much. But, as to my choice, oh yes definetly.
