We used to love watching them together!
sorry to say, he passed away in March, and I haven't exactly been in much of a mood to watch them by myself.
I've been collecting a few of the sounds though, and I'm always cracking up when I listen to the Yosemite Sam clips.
Thanks, tvman. We had a very special relationship, and even though we weren't married, inside of me I knew we were soulmates.
I was married twice before, and both of them thought I was nuts for liking to watch anything besides action films.
I'm really sorry to hear that you lost the love of your life too.
I don't know how long it's been for you, but please hang in there. It does get a bit easier with time.
It's taken me almost 3 years, but this past Valentine's Day, I attempted to watch some of the Yosemite Sam cartoons in honor of what we had. Even after 3 years, there's times when I still cry. I didn't know if I'd start crying or laughing, but they managed to give me some well needed laughs. The whole time, I kept picturing the two of us cracking up at Sam. In my heart, I felt he was watching them with me.
I can really identify with that Countess.. her favourite was Road Runner/Coyote.. we started out watching them with her daughter and then ended up just watching for ourselves... seems funny to get sentimental over a cartoon, but you really can do that, can't you?
You sure can! ...and I think both of us enjoyed them more than either of my daughters ever did. Sometimes I just think that they're easier to appreciate as a grown up ...or is it that the characters are just easier to relate to? LOL!
It could be a best friend, or someone you spend a lot of time with. When I originally asked, I believe there were more adults than teens here, so that's why I phrased it as partner. In my case I was lucky - my partner was my best friend too.

I hope that both you and tvman at least have someone to share them with. I think it's more fun when you do.
I miss her! I know what you mean.
