When in reality, his barrel-scraping bits actually take issue with some of our country's most fundamentally democratic ideas, as evidenced in a popular Cable Guy Christmas Carol, in which the trucker-chic icon wishes that all immigrants would "come and get them green cards and learn some damn English and then how to drive." Even in 1776, Larry would have been an ignorant bully.
