OK I hope you all can help, cuz I can't figure it out. In first part of Vampirology, Rex is talking about decades, 70's, 80's, etc... What does he say right AFTER "...the 80's were a good decade to be a vampire", and BEFORE he says "what a load of bollocks, can we cut this?" And why would he want to cut it?

Closest I can figure, sounds like: "Insert Thatcher joke here." Is this a reference to high taxes, i.e. blood-sucking?
