My Boys ~ Corey

jlhfan624 I have hesitated posting pictures of him for a very long time and felt up to it only now. This is my long lost baby, the actual love of my life. I had him for 17 years and we were the absolute best of friends. I miss him every day. You might notice a resemblance between Corey and Henry (my current cat). The fact Henry looked so strikingly similar to Corey was the #1 reason I adopted him.

yorkshire_rose Oh,my goodness he's absolutely gorgeous,Heather.I know just how you feel,as you know I had Purdy for 9yrs but she was the same age as Corey,when she passed.I had such a special bond with her,my heart is broken.I do see the resemblance between Corey and Henry,how lovely is that ?I can see is is very special to you,our lives are so much richer for having had them in it.Most beautiful picture *saves* 💙

jlhfan624 They become part of your family! It's hard not to grow attached, and especially when you care for something for so many years, it's bound to hurt when they pass the bridge into heaven. I'm glad neither of are babies are suffering now, but I still wish I had Corey every day.

yorkshire_rose Aww,I couldn't agree more.I wish I had Purdy with me now.She would sit at the side of me with her legs on my lap and then all of a sudden,she would walk across my laptop...sending everything into disaray *lol* ! and she was very vocal,it's so quiet without her.We don't want them to suffer but we don't want to loose them either.We both shared something special with our little ones and we couldn't have wished for anything better :)
