I would've picked Season 4 actually...
We finally got a little progress with their relationship around that time. Season 2 was good too, but Season 1 was full of cute flirty moments :D Season 3 was overshadowed with too much Skate for me.

Season 1 was amazing... But I love season 3. There WAS too much Skate, that's for sure, but I could really feel throughout this season that she loved Jack, and Skate's relationship was mainly sex. The moment that Jack told Kate to run, when Kate couldn't leave him so she went back, the moment they talked in the rec room, the moment Kate told him the story about his first surgery, her jealousy when she saw his relationship with Juliet... ALL OF IT. Loved it.
