“Where did they come from?” I asked, a little hysterical.

“It must be the connection.” Kagome said, sitting down 次 to me. I looked at her. “When I first came here, I had the jewel in my side. Then, the jewel got shattered and pieces flew everywhere. Some of them must have transferred into your arm because あなた are also a reincarnation of Kikyo.”

“That makes sense,” Miroku said. Kagome patched me up and we started off again. We had been traveling for about a week and there was still no sign of the sacred jewel. I had gotten to know everyone a lot better, especially InuYasha. I had also discovered that I did have the power to sense them. The 次 morning, we set off again. After we had been walking awhile, we found a village that had been slaughtered.

“This is terrible,” I said, closing my eyes and turning my face away. I heard growling and opened my eyes. Wolves, with blood still dripping from their mouths, stalked towards us. InuYasha pulled out his sword.

“Come and get some,” he said. The オオカミ attached and InuYasha fended them off with the Tetsusaiga. After he had killed about twenty of them, they retreated and started to howl in a group at the edge of the village.

“They’re calling their leader,” Miroku said. I ran over to the injured オオカミ and tried my best to patch them up. I loved 動物 and I couldn’t くま, クマ to see them hurt like this. A strong wind started to blow from the north.

“There are jewel shards coming this way fast,” Kagome said. I could feel them too. Just then, a tornado came out of the woods. I could see that it wasn’t a real tornado just a demon running so I continued to patch up the injured wolves. I bent over one 狼, オオカミ with a cut on his leg. I spoke gentle, calming him when a man appeared in front of me. He wore 毛皮 instead of clothing and had a breastplate on. He started down at me as I patched up the wolf.

“Which one of あなた injured and killed my wolves?” He asked, looking at the rest of the group. He saw InuYasha with the Tetsusaiga covered in blood. I had finished with the last 狼, オオカミ and walked back over to the group, standing in front of Kagome. I was very protective of her and since I was the one with the martial arts training, I was the one who needed to protect her.

“So you’re the one who set these オオカミ on this village.” InuYasha said, getting into his fighting stance.

“I am Koga, leader of the 狼, オオカミ demon tribe. あなた aren’t even a full demon and yet あなた have to nerve to kill my wolves. あなた mutt.”

“Oh yeah wolf,” InuYasha yelled. “Bring it on.”

“Be careful InuYasha,” I said. “He has three jewel shards. One in each leg and one in his right arm.”
“Thanks for the tip.” InuYasha charged at Koga and the fight began.
