“What do あなた think?” Cuddy was sitting 次 Wilson in her office, she had just told him what was going on, and she was not surprised によって his facial expressions, または reaction.
“You’re going to be fine. I’ve done a ton of procedures like this.” His raised eyebrows and his boyish smile undermined this statement of utter reassurance.
“Thanks.” Cuddy smiled weakly, whilst she cuddled her light green mug with レモン and ginger tea.
Wilson got a page. “It’s House. He’s got the または set up and ready to go…are あなた okay?”
Cuddy put her mug of お茶, 紅茶 down, before both Wilson and Cuddy stood up, and they left for the OR.

Wilson joined House as they scrubbed up. “Can あなた do this?” Wilson felt nervous, performing on his boss, and his friend. “It’s a routine procedure. No biggie.” Wilson didn’t like the fact that House was deflecting at such a serious time.
“I’d say it was a biggie right now, she’s our boss. We aren’t even recording this surgery down. If something goes wrong…” House glared at Wilson, as they were about to see Cuddy, and put her under.
“Then we’ll have もっと見る free time to go bowling.” House was the first to walk towards the double doors, and into the theatre. Wilson still had worry in his eyes, as he followed close behind.
Cuddy was in the theatre, with the hanging lights shining down on her. “If あなた screw up…” Cuddy was scared, as she looked up at the faces of Wilson on her left and House on her right. “It’s going to be okay, I promise.” Wilson was his usual caring self, and when Cuddy looked at House, words didn’t have to spoken. Through their powerful eye contact, they understood each other perfectly. Cuddy’s eyes filled with sadness and worry, with House’s reflecting her pain.
“Count backwards from ten.” House spoke softly, and as Cuddy began counting backwards, House injected the anaesthetic, until Cuddy’s eyes closed and Wilson put surgical tape over them.
“Right. Scalpel…”

Over six hours had passed. Wilson had goaded the nurses to keep quiet about Cuddy being in the ward, and he frequently passed her room throughout the day. Meanwhile, House didn’t know what to do with himself; his team had left him alone, noticing that he was in an unusually depressive mood. House waited until the sixth 時 before he made his way up to the wards above him.
Waiting a few moments before he entered her room, the blinds were closed so he couldn’t just look in from the outside. House made sure he was quiet, and walked over to her bedside, pulling up a nurses スツール to sit on and just watch her as she slept.
The room was quiet dark, and created a morose feeling; House seemed to find waiting for Cuddy to wake-up a peaceful serene feeling.
Not a moment too soon, Cuddy began to make slight moaning noises as she began to wake-up, her green eyes seemed darker than usual, and looked もっと見る エメラルド than before.
Cuddy turned her head, and could see House sitting there. “How long have あなた been here?” House carried on staring at her, his face was relaxed, and his eyes were wider than usual.
“About five minutes. Felt like longer though.” House stood up, and checked Cuddy’s chart.
“Was there any complications?” Cuddy’s voice was breathy. “There was something.” House feigned seriousness, “What?” With a sense of alarm in her voice, Cuddy propped herself up. “…When did あなた get that tattoo?” The silence was followed によって a slight smile, on both House and Cuddy’s face.
“There was no medical reason for あなた to look there.” Cuddy spoke in a calm, and refreshing tone. “Well, Wilson wasn’t looking.” The slight humour House was able to provide to such an important moment was exactly what Cuddy needed.
“I’m going to give あなた some もっと見る morphine.” House signed Cuddy’s chart, and Cuddy smiled. “Thanks.” House looked up, and he smiled slightly too.
“…I’ll come back later.” House sounded dejected, but as he was about to slide the doors open, Cuddy called him back.
“Wait. Don’t just leave House. Can’t あなた just, stay?” House paused for a moment, before he hung his head slightly, and rested his fist on the ウォール to the side of him, before looking back at her.
“I will come back, I don’t lie remember.” As he 発言しました this, his look of anguish stayed on his face, as he left. Leaving Cuddy to sit in her room, alone, with the rain tapping on the large windows that surrounded ¾ of the room.
Silently, “Right.” Cuddy spoke soft words to herself. Before, she gently fell back onto her bed; and smiled weakly at the sight of a くま, クマ sitting alone in the corner.

When does 愛 become something we need, rather than something we want? 愛 was seen as something special a long time ago. Now 愛 is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. 愛 is common currency when あなた are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older あなた get. Do we not care about the substance of what 愛 was and not what it has been made into today によって commercialisation from American 映画 and テレビ commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience 愛 for real, can we コメント and judge others who are in Love. 愛 means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of 愛 is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? 愛 is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
Love.
Love.
