I doubt as much as we all would like. And my guess is that the intimacy they are talking about is, at best, on an emotional level. I doubt we will see any physical intimacy. However, I am hoping that the intimacy we see in this episode, however it manifests, is a stepping stone towards the emotional hook up of Huddy.

I just thought of something else that this episode might really help us with...

Okay, Cuddy has stated that part of her reason why she is with Lucas is because Lucas is dependable and House is not. With this interview stating that House helps her sort out the hospital problems, I think what the writers are trying to accomplish is that Cuddy is going to begin to see that House can be depended on. He will be there for her through the thick and thin.

Another thing that just came to my mind is something else the 5 to 9 preview showed me. The hospital is, without question, a part of Cuddy's life. Lucas is not part of the hospital and could therefore never be as big a part of her life as House could. With House helping her, I think she will begin to see that really, House is the better choice for her.

If you are able to detach yourself from being blinded by your "Huddiness" for a little while and take a step back, I think what you'll notice is that they are using Season 6 to take extremely small baby steps and show that House is what Cuddy needs. It's just going to take some time...

XD Yes we are able to do that endeed! We are just kidding and drowining in our own Huddiness for a while you know....it's not so fun being always analitycal and serius but I totally agree with you on season 6. Besides remember last line of Wilson ep? Baby steps: that's the key as you said right now....but....can I hope, in my crazy Huddiness, that in the very end...we will have a huge jump ahead? LW, Definately a major point about Lucas being out of loop in hospital world, though that fact could go either way because you could also say that Lucas is a part of Rachel world, and House is out of that loop. So, it will come down to her own identity or sense of self, who Cuddy really is and wants to be.
