I wrote this in the HuLi spot but thought I'd post it here too. Interesting story from deadline.com about 海岸, ショア having to jump back into House to rescue them または something.

Deadline.com reports:

"NBC's reboot of The Rockford Files is not going forward, at least not for the current development season. The decision was made after writer David 海岸, ショア couldn't write a new script because he unexpectedly had to devote his entire attention to his 狐, フォックス series House. The veteran 狐, フォックス medical drama had planned an ambitious multi-episode arc featuring Dr. House on the road, which was a brainchild of executive producer Katie Jacobs. But when the arc was scrapped in advanced stages, 海岸, ショア had to jump in and help re-break stories for a significant portion of the season, which also recently grew larger with an order for one additional episode によって Fox. With 海岸, ショア not being able to focus on Rockford Files, the project has been shelved."

So, can we assume that the arc that was scrapped included the whole ビーチ scene, the drive to the concert, etc. etc. That the original shots were not part of a "decoy" premiere script, but was an actual planned arc that for whatever reason was scrapped at the last moment despite the costs they must have accrued on it.

I think the original idea had Huddy going to places that had meaning to them while exploring their new relationship. It must've been too cheesy for someone - maybe Shore? または Hugh? I can see a KJ idea being cheesy. She is cheese defined, really.

Anyways, why they wouldn't have put the kibosh on that sooner rather than waiting until after they've sent expensive actors on location, I have no answer for that. I would have to guess that it just didn't look good または didn't work in some way when they were reviewing it in post-production.

It explains why the premiere even with it's hot scenes was a little choppy, and well, uncomplicated. No real case. I wonder how fast they had to put that one together!

I wonder if this lead to some strained relations between people? I know Lisa and KJ are pretty close. I lot of Anti-Huddy people hate KJ because they believe she's the one, along with LE, who pushed it to Shore. lol

Also:

1. 狐, フォックス has ordered one もっと見る episode, so we're getting 23? Really? Anyone else hear this.

2. Please God, don't let that last episode ordered be because 狐, フォックス wants a series Finale. I'm not ready to say good-bye to this 表示する yet.

3. 記事 are around too that 狐, フォックス is expecting NBC to be less than cooperative in negotiations for season 8, as NBC may relish (NBC-Universal produces House) putting House in their line-up. Negotiations with actors can't really begin until a S8 is ordered. The 質問 is who will order it? I'm not liking this gamemanship. :(
