“Does ‘nothing’ have other meanings I don’t know about?” His former doctor sighed because of his stubbornness. “Fine,” House finally began to open up, “this pain woke me up this morning. I didn’t bother to tell Cuddy because I know she needs sleep -----“
“No, あなた didn’t bother to tell her because あなた know what she’ll do and あなた know what she’ll feel.”
“Thank God you’re thinking.” There was a 分 of silence between them. “I won’t be able to go back to work, am I?” House asked in deep fear of what the answer will be.
“You can go back to work, House.” Wow, what a relief for him. “You’re completely healed now and あなた know this result is right,” Pitt 発言しました with a finger pointing to the folder under his crossed arms, “but, あなた have to be honest with your leg pain so we can do something about it.”
House looked at him, convinced that they really have to do something before his leg turn him to a son of a 雌犬 again.
Meanwhile in PPTH, Wilson came in Cuddy’s office with no sight of her. She wasn’t seated on her chair but her belongings were already on the 表, テーブル meaning she finally got in after being late for almost two hours. There was a familiar sound though that has been echoing from the bathroom that caught his attention. He slowly walk but making sure to make sounds as not to surprise Cuddy if she happened to go out the moment he reach the doorway. Even with his optimistic character, he couldn’t help but to think of what the sound could mean in a negative way. What he fear the most was actually the thing he saw the moment he stood によって the doorway, Cuddy’s throwing up. For a second, he closed his eyes and when he looked at her again, she was now looking back at him before rinsing her mouth off.
“Need water?” was all his brain and mouth could come up with. “No,” she replied. He didn’t ask anything else as he watched her cleaned her mouth with a paper towel before heading back to the office 宇宙 where he followed and where she sat down on the ソファー, ソファ across the room. She had her palm propped up her head as she tried not to meet her friend’s gaze who’s been eyeing her movement since she left his side. “Stay away from cafeteria’s tuna sandwich,” she deflected and she got a roll of eyes from him as an answer.
“You know what your throwing up could mean, right?” he asked, still standing in front of her.
“James,” she looked up, “I am not ---“
“I haven’t 発言しました anything yet, meaning あなた already know what I might be pointing at.” She was definitely caught off guard with her own words. “How long have you’ve been feeling like these?” he added.
“Not もっと見る than three weeks.” Wilson couldn’t help but to give out a sigh before taking the 宇宙 次 to Cuddy’s. “And I get it あなた haven’t told him anything about this yet?”
“Why should I?” she asked, “this is nothing. I told you, the tuna turned my stomach into a mess.”
“Have あなた been eating tuna for the past two weeks?” Wilson has a point and Cuddy wished she could hold herself so she wouldn’t blurt things she herself fears.
“We need to do some blood work,” he offered. “Blood work?” she asked still afraid of whatever lies ahead, “James, I don’t need one, okay? It’s just a simple stress triggered によって that tuna sandwich.” The oncologist looked at her still unconvinced with the reason she pointed out. He’s been giving her the go-on-and-tell-me-about-it looks before she finally confessed.
“I know what headaches, dizziness and vomiting could mean but –“

“What the hell? No.”
“How sure are you? How sure are あなた that you’re not? Did the pregnancy test あなた took prove あなた right?”
“I haven’t taken any,” she said. Wilson gave out a sigh and a tap on Cuddy’s shoulder. “Then get one before あなた do something that is superwoman-ic that the life in your womb will be put at risk,” he ordered. As he stood up, even him was actually afraid of what might this pregnancy, if there is, brings to House.
“James,” he turned to look at her again, “don’t tell him anything about this yet until we’re sure.” He nodded before totally walking out of the clinic.
That evening, Cuddy had been in the bathroom for almost an 時 with thoughts battling in her head if she will open the box that has been lying on the sink since she got in. Fears took over her that made her decide that she will not take the test that evening after convincing herself that Wilson’s wrong and that she’s right. She even felt herself weird for not wanting this baby, again if there’s any, knowing she wanted one for years but with all these hospital works going on and Rachel in her life, she knew her life was re-directed and having another baby is nothing but a “burden”.
She was lying on her side after two hours when House finally walked in the room. Earlier, he went out to have a night with Pitt and Daniel and now, he’s quite tipsy but still coherent as he took the 宇宙 intended for him beside her. He first lay on his back before turning his head to see her curly black hair hanging loosely that even some of them were already touching the pillow. He sighed and drew himself closer to her as his hand finally landed on her shoulder.
“I 愛 you,” he whispered on her ear knowing she might only be half sleeping によって then. He kissed her earlobe while his hand went sliding downward her arm as he carefully placed his head on his own pillow. His palm was really intended to touch her hand but accidentally, it fell on her abdomen instead. And there, he felt something he never did before. Something un-Cuddy. He lifted his head up again, just behind hers, as his eyes were set to see the area where his right hand landed. Nothing has change if your eyes will do all the work for あなた though but even with some alcohol running in his system, he knew and he’s certain that there was a slight bulge arching beneath his palm. He let out a sigh again before looking at Cuddy whose eyes were both shut as he slowly caress the area where his hand was on. He gave her another quick キッス before letting his hand go and lying on his back on his side of the bed.
Little did he know, Cuddy was just 芝居 the whole time since he got in. She opened her eyes but didn’t bother to turn and face him. She palmed the area where House hand was a few 分 前 as she closed her eyes again so she could hide the tears that threaten to fall down.
