(i havent been able to get a beta- reader cos no one is around and i dont have long till my computer runs out of battery, so sorry if i make mistakes または anything...)
The sun outside was slowly setting, but that didn't stop cocacola as she slowly mopped the corridor. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth... There was something relaxing, beautiful even, about mopping. Cocacola knew everyone thought she was crazy for thinking this, but she didn't care. She argued that if she enjoyed it and it helped this run-down shack of a hospital just a little then it was a definite improvement! She was sure there were other things she could be cleaning, like the windows, または the hideous amount of litter that she usually just swept to the side, but this was what she was good at, so this was what she did.
As cocacola mopped she thought about what she had just heard, trying to work it out. she hadn't meant to overhear it but as she had listened overhearing had turned to eavesdropping. If what she had heard was true and Anusha really was sick, then one of two things would happen:
1) Everyone would focus all of their efforts into curing Anusha so she could slide them through the inspection again, or
2) Everyone would suddenly be on her back, persuading her to do some of the cleaning she was paid for!
However she chose magical option number 3, which was to steer well clear of the hospital during the 日 and come back and mop during the night, which was what she was doing now.
Upon turning the corner she saw a light on at the end of the corridor and heard a tapping noise. Forgetting that she was hiding from everyone she approached the open door and knocked gently, poking her head around at the same time. She saw jameswilson sitting at her 机, デスク pouring over a file. She saw that the noise was coming from finger, repeatedly tapping the desk. At the sound of the knock jameswilson jumped and looked up at her.
"What are あなた doing here?? I swear あなた never clean!!"
"oh... I was just..." Cocacola was a little taken aback. She knew jameswilson, they talked every now and again but she had never seen her this agitated before. She had never heard her snap before either! Something was clearly bothering her...
"Sorry..." she seemed to agree as she muttered this apology and returned her gaze to the file again. "I... I just can't work this out... the meds we put her on should be making her better! But there's been no change... why am I telling あなた this?? You're just a cleaner!"
Cocacola stood in the doorway, feeling very useless. She wished she could help in some way, but all she was good at was mopping, which didn't seem like an appropriate suggestion at the minute... But as the thought, she remembered that she did ,in fact, have another talent... A very out of touch talent that hadn't been exercised in years at the least, but a talent none the less!! It was worth a shot!!
"If あなた like.... I could teach あなた how to play the paino...."
