Dr. Gregory House had a relationship with Stacy Warner, a constitutional lawyer, whom he claims he met when she shot him in a game of Doctors vs. Lawyers paintball. House suffered an infarction in his right leg which led to a number of options. House refused to amputate. He wanted to bypass the clot and hope that that would save his leg. Stacy took it upon herself to go against his wishes によって approving a middle ground: a surgery to remove the dead leg muscle while he was put into a chemically-induced coma.
